Hana Sushi & Pho — Restaurant in Biloxi

It was the worst experience I ever had since I been coming there. As I was eating our server seated a man right next to me and my son and it was not even 6ft apart so I was right away disturbed and couldn't finish my meal so I get up to pay for my meal and as I run over to ask our server to get us a togo bag she tells me that she will bag our food up for us and as a gentleman came in without his mask he just kept talking and flirting with the server so as I was waiting in the lobby to pay for my food I see our server bagging up our left over food and as she was picking up our food from our table the man without the mask on calls our server over to his table and while the man without the mask on was talking she still had had our left over food in her hand so he was talking over our food without NO MASK SO I ASKED FOR ANOTHER FRESH TOGO PLATE. I SPENT $40.00 ON MY FOOD AND COULD NOT EVEN ENJOY IT AND I ALSO HAD TO THROW AWAY MY PLATE BECAUSE I WAS NOT SURE IF OUR SERVER HAD MY SONS PLATE UP TOO THE MANS FACE WHILE HE WAS TALKING OR MINE BUT SHE ONLY REMADE MY SONS TOGO PLATE AND NOT MINE SO I ENDED UP THROWING MINE AWAY WHEN I GOT HOME BECAUSE OF COVID-19 AND THE MAN WAS TALKING OVER MY FOOD WHILE THE SERVER WAS STANDING THERE HOLDING MY FOOD TALKING TO THE GENTLEMAN. I WAS MAD AND IRRITATED BY OUR SERVER AND THIS GENTLEMAN. PEOPLE ARE NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO OTHERS AROUND...

Service was pretty decent but the only good thing my family found there was the pho..(even though the sprouts were not fresh at all) but definitely not worth the drive or the prices.. portions of the noodle dishes are way smaller than most Thai places.. everything else was horrible. Including the sushi.. I figured when I saw the menu that specialized in Japanese and Thai they would be the master of none..

Response to owner.. that's what I had was the pad Thai.. it had this sweet and sour flavor that was more sour than anything. Barely edible. But thanks for defending your dishes instead of asking how you could make up for a horrible experience that we shelled out a lot of money for.. Even the server and the guy who ran some food said some people love it but a lot of people don't like it.. would've been nice to know that before I ordered it. Anyways. Didnt taste like any pad thai ive ever had. It was disgusting. And I've had better sushi at the panda palace buffet which is bad sushi at best.. and none of my family was too impressed either. Part of feedback is adjusting but its also satisfying customers who were unhappy with their experience..my review stands and I will not...

We live very near Hana and we eat there every week. Sometimes twice in a week. I am obsessed with the red curry chicken. It’s heaven in a bowl. I have tried a few other items but am so enamored with the red curry that it always wins for me. I when they first opened, the curry was like a thick, red gravy/sauce over the chicken and it was served on a plate. the taste was fabulous but I always requested extra sauce because it wasn’t enough for me. Then they changed it to be more like a soup, served it a huge bowl with rice on the side, and that changed the game for me. So. Great!!!!

He loves the sushi and the shrimp tempura. He gets the same thing every time, too, now.

Tried the stuffed jalapeños appetizer tonight. It’s really fantastic. I highly recommend it. Probably a 1 out of 5 on the spicy scale. Great flavors.
