Went about an hour before closing, so it was my party and one other table. We were seated and served quickly, and both the hostess and waitresses were very friendly/welcoming. They had pleasant music playing over the speakers that was at the perfect volume, could easily talk over it without being drowned out which I appreciate it. Lights were also dim but not enough to where you can’t see. We were a little skeptical at first, but the food was excellent. I personally ordered the margarita pizza, and it was flavorful, the dough was fluffy, and it was cooked to perfection. My friend had the Alfredo pasta with chicken, and I can honestly say it was some of the best Alfredo I’ve ever tasted. It was addictive, I finished her bowl haha. Some of the menu items might seem a bit odd at first glance (see pesto made using avocados) but this restaurant and its items are 100% worth the try and will not disappoint. Had a great experience, and really appreciate the accommodating staff, despite staying past operating hours. Will be back again if I’m in town,...
Read moreWent in with girlfriend and friend for lunch. Staff was friendly but not nosy and were very kind. They brought out bread and oil and seasonings Fantastic start to the meal.
Ordered Calamari, Chicken Carfioci (can't remember the spelling), and girlfriend got the Chicken Tuscano, and the friend got the cheese pizza.
Absolutely amazing quality and great portion size. I can't remember the last time I had Italian food this good outside of Baltimore. Food was nice and hot, flavors were amazing.
The calamari was cooked to perfection and seasoned just as well, the spicy marinara was a great balance of heat.
Our friend who is a bit picky when it comes to food was blown away by the cheese pizza, great charring, nice and pillowy crust, great amount of cheese and sauce (per friend)
Both the chicken dishes were amazing, the sauces were put of this world. Definitely recommend if you want actual Italian food and you can't scratch that itch you've been missing up north. This is the real thing not...
Read moreSecond time here and so far not very impressed. First time was so much better and the second time was bad.
The pizza has potential but, for some reason they can't get it right. The dough / crust is too thin for how much cheese they put on it. The balance of cheese to dough is way off. Too much cheese makes the pizza so greasy and heavy for you even to be able to pick it up. Tried eating with a knife and fork this time and same result. It was a floppy mess. The only saving grace was the cup pepperoni. Other then that the pizza is forgettable...
Also, tried the pasta with vodka sauce and meatballs. The pasta and sauce was good but, the meatballs had no flavor and was mushy once you cut into it. Wife said it taste like Chef Boyardee and $6 for 3 mushy meatballs. What a total disappointment.
Probably won't be back or at least awhile...
Oh wait the last time they had good calamari and spicy...
