Store has great inventory. It was well stocked but if you need help you can forget it. My sister wanted to know the price of a ring at the fine jewelry. There wasn't many people in the store. It appeared only one person was working the jewelry counter although 2-3 other ladies kept walking around behind the counter & when my sister asked if they could help her they said no only the one lady could. She had 1 difficult customer ahead of us and we had to wait forever. After the customer then there was computer issues, then she had to enter previous items before she could help us. It was the most ridiculous thing I had ever seen. Then we went to checkout to buy the other items she wanted and there was only 1 checkout person. This poor young lady was helping a customer on the floor who wanted to know a price. She came up to the register and scanned the item for a price check and the lady behind us went off on her for not taking her next. She was next in line. And the employee very nicely turned and said Mam I am not checking her out. I was helping her on the floor and I just come to get a price check for her. The lady went off on her again. It made her that much more mad. She threatened to tell the manager. So when the employee finished the price check. She kindly told the lady she would check the next person now. That same lady steadily fussing at her put her items on the counter 1st item didn't scan on sale that made her more mad. So the employee went to see if she could find another one like it while the woman is still fussing at her. I gave her my name & number if she needed it to talk to her manager on her behalf. She didn't do anything wrong. It was a bad day...
Read moreWe parked by the food court to eat before shopping and Came in through the mall entrance about a hour before closing, when we got finished looking around and proceeded to check out there was 1 couple ahead of me, the wife and my 2 year old and teenage daughter, the cashier, a lady with blue hair I think it was was helping the couple and had just walked off in the middle of helping these people and proceeded to close the doors to the mall entrance. Well after she done so , she disappeared, another associate came up and was in question as to where the cashier went , she proceeded to finish the job the blue hair lady did not finish. Well after we paid for our items we asked if they would open the doors to let’s us out the mall entrance. The cashier that helped us with check out came and tried to open the door but could not and had asked a lady in jewelry about how to open them and the lady in jewelry told us that they would get fined if they opened the doors after close , and that we had to exit the building on the far side of the building , well we walked to the other side and it had started Storming really bad and we had to walk almost a quarter of the way around the building in the rain with my 2 year old because our car was parked by the food court and they would not just open the doors to let customers out. I will not be spending another penny in jcpenny. They claim to care about our health but closing up seems to be more important...
Read moreBought a fridge at JcPenney Biloxi location for 50% the floor price. We had to pick it up and install it ourselves, the person checking us out said they could help us load it and we would get rewards to our account. Picked up the fridge, they can’t help load it due to liability problems. Weeks go by and my account doesn’t have the rewards updated. I called the JCPenney hotline and they misspelled not just my last name, but my email as well. The nice woman on the phone gave me the rewards certificate to use online or in-store. We mosey down to the JcP at the mall to use my $20 in rewards. No one could figure out how to work register because they are 70+ years old with no training. A woman came to help them and was rude, told us we had to add $1 of items because our total was $19.95 instead of $20. So let’s think here $5.00 x 4= $20. She said either break up the transactions to use the rewards or buy something else. So how’s that make sense? You can $10 off one transaction, but not $20 off one? We added another item and won’t be back. This store needs some serious training with customers and learn how to spell names when signing up you up for rewards. My last name is Landry not Landknee. I wouldn’t even use the rewards because you spend $1,200 on a fridge for the rewards to...
