Well, well, well, Bagger Dave, let me tell you something! You treated us well—really well! This was our first time, and we definitely plan to come back.
First off, our waiter, Joseph W, was incredible—super polite, nice, and helpful. Good dude, good dude! We started off with some Parmesan truffle fries, and I dunked those bad boys into ranch and truffle aioli dipping sauce. My goodness, that ranch was ThIcC tHiCc and I loved it! My cutie dunked hers in honey mustard, which was also straight banging. I loved the softness of the fries and the flavoring.
On to the main course: we both ordered the stacked patty melt, which, according to the menu, is a new item. Please keep it on there; it’s incredible! I got mine with a side of even more fries and ranch. Side note: as a ranchaholic (I need to go to Ranchaholics Anonymous), I loved, loved, loved this ranch! My cutie got onion rings for her side, and with BBQ sauce for dunking, they were very good indeed. I must say, y’all have some delicious sauces; they’re all made in-house, and you do a fantastic job!
We both adored the patty melts and stuffed ourselves to the brim. The Thousand Island dressing was great on it, the meat was cooked to perfection, and the sourdough bread was phenomenal! We snuggled into one side of a booth and watched the Lions stomp the Titans while thoroughly enjoying our food. We each got strawberry margaritas too; they don’t go light on the alcohol—those were strong, and we sucked them down by the end!
It’s official: the legend of Bagger Dave was born today with our first trip, and it will lead to another in the not-so-distant future. We were stuffed by the end and completely satisfied. The bathrooms were clean and nice too! Thank you, Bagger Dave’s, for such a tremendous meal and experience. I give you five golden stars out of five! Lastly, shoutout to Joseph—we...
Read moreStopped in for acouple cocktails on way to the Hotel. We’ve never seen this chain before so thought it’d be fun to see what its about. I wish we would have been hungry because the menu looked good. I had 2 long islands ( not a pre made mix, its hand made) and the bar-maid was good especially for being so young. She knew how to make a proper cocktail . My girlfriend got 2 margaritas and they were just as good. I asked for alittle taste of a beer on tap and she poured me a 4oz. And then asked if id be interested in trying any others. I had Just the one sample it was a full flavor Red i liked it. Seeing I wasn’t really in the beer mood the sample was plenty. I just didn’t want to pass by without trying it and afford to pay for the pour and she refused seeing it was her pleasure she was glad i liked it. The bar-maid was very friendly and i could tell she enjoyed her job ( this place is lucky to have a young barmaid with a fun attitude) Bagger is super clean and neat with a cool Train Vibe. As we sat at the bar we both noticed that everyone that was working there was very good at there jobs and paid attention to their tables. I commend the management as well as the Servers i hope everyone who stops here sees what we saw. If i ever pass by a Bagger i assure u ill stop to get a bite next time. Cocktail list specials are well priced especially because its 2023 and thats not something you see...
Read moreI ordered Train Wrack Burger ($16.95), which includes fries. I was disappointed with the fries. I did have the option to get coleslaw, I declined that option and went with the fries! When food came out, I thought, what kind of fries are these! In my opinion, they appeared to be burned, I asked the waitress (Katelynn) is this the way your fries come out, and she said yes. I looked at other people's fries, and I verified that they were dark brown. To me, that means that they are burned or are cooked in burned grease. The waitress noticed that I was not eating the fries and offered to have the cook to cook some more fries, which I declined. She then asked if I wanted coleslaw, and I again declined. I'm strange because when I sit down to eat, I have a mental picture of what the food should look like. If the food does not meet my expectations, that's a problem. Now I must admit to Bagger Dave Burgers that Burger was really good and filing. I saw a few people eating the fries that I did not care for, so I guess that Bagger Dave's is fixing the fries the way their customers like. For me, I will try Probably try them one more time before I give up on them. As for the young waitress, she was on point. She saw that a customer was not happy with the food and offered alternative choices, which I turned down. Thank...
