The restaurant was a little busy and they were unstaffed, now I understand being stretched thin but there's a difference between stretching thin and being plain rude.
The waitress was really nice until our food came. My friend ordered a cheese burger no pickle no tomato and they brought it out with only a pile of pickles (like a sarcastically large amount of pickles) and when we asked for a new one because it wasn't what we ordered. She brought it out plain then when sent back came out with only lettuce no onion. Each time with more and more attitude
My french toast was slimy and didn't look like the grill had been cleaned since they cooked one of my other friends omelette. I asked if she would just comp the french toast so we could leave, she rudely said I'd have to call back in the morning for a voucher or something. When I said I didn't want that because I didn't want to have to come back she said she couldn't comp it because she didn't have permission in the computer to do it (which is a management fault). After a while she said nothing and dropped another check at the table with the french toast comped
I have never had a more frustrating experience just trying to get out of the door. I left the cash next to the register, after she walked away in the middle of cashing me out, and told her it was there have a good night, she didn't even look up to see if it was there. I have been served much worse food, not that it was edible, but I have never had such attitude about such bad food. It's not my fault you can't serve a correct order of french toast or a cheeseburger, don't take...
Read moreThe staff at this place are very unprofessional and lacking in hygiene and food handling etiquette. Earlier today a customer complained after seeing his waitress touching another female customers face and then proceeded to get him a glass of water. He asked her to wash her hands and instead of apologizing and washing her hands she decided to argue with the customer and breached his space by going up to him and yelling at him. Then the female customer decided to interject herself into the fray and all hell broke loose. The manager and the rest of the staff did not deescalate the situation at all by stopping the waitress from arguing with a customer who, by the way, had every right to demand the waitress wash her hands after touching another customers face. That act alone is inappropriate in any food service business . So she was wrong. Period. Management was extremely careless in the safety of all the other customers by not deescalating the situation when they should have reigned in on the waitress for arguing and getting in that man's face. It was unbelievable. Like the law of the jungle in that place. Also I noticed this same waitress earlier was talking over another customers food while she was delivering it to the table. That again shows lack of basic hygiene and food safety regulations . I did not finish my lunch after witnessing these unsightly things today and would not recommend this nasty place to anyone including the kennel club. I now wonder if this is why this place with all their filthy staff was shut down recently for 3 weeks. Eat at your...
