My daughter is 6 and for âkindergarten graduationâ she wanted her ears pierced. She did really well when she got stitches in her leg so I thought she would sit well for earrings. However, the two nurses here wisely suggested they pierce both ears at once. Which was a really good suggestion because she did scream for about 2 seconds but then she realized she had earrings and everyone was praising her and she was completely fine. If you have younger kids maybe call ahead before booking or walking in and see if they have two nurses there who can do it at the same time. Also Iâm not sure what is in their spray but BUY IT! The nurse said we can use it on her piercing or any cut or scrap. Itâs like magic in a bottle. It stops the itching from the new piercing instantly for my daughter. Also my husband had a small cut that wasnât healing with regular antibiotic cream. I suggested he use the spray and it worked great. I also used it on a sunburn and a random scraps on all the kids and it has been working really well. I am seriously considering stopping by to get more lol. The picture below is 24 hours after the piercing. She had no redness or complaints and itâs been over 3 weeks and the healing is going really well. We havenât changed earrings yet but weâve taken the starter set out and cleaned them and put them back in and the ears look great. Way better than when I had my ear lobes done a few years ago...
Read moreIâm NEVER one to leave negative reviews, but I am so incredibly disappointed. :( I initially loved this place. But I went on Tuesday to get my post downsize, which the piercer made wayyyy too tight - which caused my ears to become extremely swollen and start to get infected. It hurt so bad. I had to go back yesterday to get that fixed and she had to put in a whole size bigger than what I initially had before the downsize because of how swollen my ears were. She was pretty rough even though my ears were so swollen - that hurt 10x more than the actual piercing and itâs been bleeding on and off since. I left in tears because of how badly it hurt. Then I woke up this morning to see that yesterdayâs piercer didnât even put the earring in correctly because it just fell out. So now I donât even have an earring in one of those ears. This place is pretty costly (which I didnât mind at first because I thought theyâd do a good job), but now Iâve invested quite a bit of money into this to not even have an earring in that hole anymore. Not to mention how much pain Iâve been tolerating, and the fact that this place is pretty out of the way for me - itâs not a short drive. Iâm not even sure what to do, I might just have to take the other one out too because messing with them this much canât be good. I really loved this place at first- ...
Read moreOverall, decent experience. I took my 4 month old baby here for lobe piercings. The nurse was nice and friendly. I was in and out quickly. I like the way the earring placement looks, but the starter earrings have shorter posts than youâd expect. My daughterâs earrings healed, but then developed a granuloma after a few months. After emailing, the nurse got back with me saying it would go away. I changed my daughterâs earrings to ones with a longer post (starter earrings from pediatrician). Her ears healed themself after a few days. I am overall just unimpressed with the earring they use and how tight it ends up on the ear. This place is also expensive for what it is.
If you are looking for a place to take your baby or young child, I would consider a pediatrician first over this place.
I want to add that while it gives me some peace of mind knowing there are nurses piercing your ears, itâs also very gimmicky to me. Yes, I feel like nurses take hygiene and their job more seriously, but no I donât believe they study earlobe anatomy or piercing positions in...
