I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mexico Lindo Mexican restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolute culinary delight! From start to finish, this establishment exceeded my expectations and left me longing for more.

The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by the warm and inviting ambiance, adorned with vibrant colors and traditional Mexican decor. The attentive and friendly staff made me feel right at home, ensuring a delightful dining experience throughout.

A sentimental favorite.

Most people order a meal with the standard beans and rice on the side. I really like the paella. It is delicious and enough to share or take home and enjoy the next day.

Ordinarily, I prefer margaritas on the rocks, but the frozen margarita is the way to go when you’re here.

The Lindo accommodates groups well. When it is just you and a friend, snag a place at the bar, if there is an opening. The view of all the people retreating to their 🎶 little boxes on the hillside 🎶 in 5 o’clock traffic, is oddly soothing.

There is outdoor seating, that works as overflow. It’s strictly functional on the edge of a parking lot. Speaking of parking, it can get crowded...so think outside the box...as in across the street? Or nearby businesses that close at 5:00 and don’t forbid parking. Better yet, walk if you are within a mile or summon an...

I took my mom to Mexico Lindo for her birthday (11/2022). Their service has never been exceptional, but last Saturday it was completely unacceptable. Our waiter, Saul, had a bad attitude from the beginning. When I requested more salsa and other items, he wouldn't bring them. It wasn't that he was too busy, as he passed our table multiple times without acknowledgment. He seemed hostile, and when I addressed the issue with him, he told me to keep my tip because he "didn't need it." He was very disrespectful and obviously not much of a businessman, people person, nor waiter. I spoke to the manager regarding the situation, and he seemed indifferent. It was definitely the last time I will visit Mexico Lindo in Mountain Brook, and I certainly recommend against it to anyone else. The experience ruined my mom's birthday...
