I’m gonna start with saying that I’m somewhat of a pizza connoisseur… like when I die I want to be fed pizza at that moment. I’m from Arizona and we have a solid lock on New York style pizza. And it’s kinda hard to find good ones here in Detroit and surrounding areas. Rocco’s was the best I had found so far and this place blows them out of the water.

The cheese alone did it for me. That flavor! So freakin good. And the sauce was perfect. And the crust held the slice strong all the way through. The cheese bread was also equally as beautiful. Soooo good.

It makes me sad to see these one star reviews from fake accounts. I think they are all crap and just trying to sabotage. I also want to add that I drive for uber in my spare time and I’ve picked up from here multiple times and the staff are...

Hands down the BEST New York-style pizza I’ve had outside of NYC! I ordered a large pepperoni pie for takeout, and it was ready right on time. The slices were huge, foldable, and dripping with flavor—just like a true New York slice should be. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, with just the right amount of chew, and the sauce had that tangy, savory balance that keeps you coming back for more.

The pepperoni was crispy around the edges, and the cheese was gooey and delicious. Even after the drive home, the pizza was still hot and fresh. The portions are generous, so I had leftovers for the next day (which reheated surprisingly well!).

We ordered a couple pizzas late on a Tuesday night. This spot has been a couple other pizza concepts in the past. This one had better stick because the pizza was outstanding. The crust was light and flavorful. The specialty pizza was outstanding. The pepperoni pizza was also quite nice. The menu was interesting. I look forward to visiting again and trying calzones, salads, chicken wings, and desserts.

Within a half mile radius, there are quite a bit of premium Pizza options. They charge an arm and leg as well. New York Pizza is a premium pizza without the Premium price.
