I would give more stars if I could! I’m on the east coast and wanted to send flowers to an uncle’s funeral in Birmingham that I couldn’t attend. I spoke first with Andrea, who made very helpful suggestions about the arrangement and what might be most appreciated in the circumstances I described. On the morning of, the funeral home apparently lost power and there was a question of moving or postponing the service. The florist knew before I did and called to assure me they were on it! (Thank you Bob). Ultimately they delivered—everything perfect—and family members told me the arrangement was beautiful. They are rude and unprofessional and I would not advise this shop to anyone. My order was to a business during the week at 440pm my order was still 20-30 minutes away. I placed a note in special instructions alerting them to the time my girlfriend gets off work and to please make the delivery before then my order was made two days before delivery date. When I initially called for the status of my order I was rudely told the business did not exist and they couldnt find my order. Then I was placed on hold for 10 minutes and another salesperson answered to tell me I had not placed any message in the special instructions. I checked out the website the other night and found a few arrangements that, I thought, my girlfriend may like. I called the following day, in the early afternoon, to place an order. The woman who answered the phone did not need to reference any catalog or website to recognize the arrangements I in which i was interested. She knew all the color patterns and flower species from memory and it was clear she was an expert florist after only a short talk. She agreed to modify a particular arrangement to my liking.
