Our party used the check-In system online and arrived 10 minutes after the recommended 50 minute wait online. Still waited 1hr 13 minutes but got seated immediately when we brought it up. Lots of empty tables with a long wait, so they're most likely understaffed. I ordered the sweet heat chicken and French toast bites with a Ruby Mimosa. The chicken was defiantly the best part of this dish with a spicy honey like sauce covering a non-seasoned breaded chicken. The bites themselves need work. While they had a really nice crust outside and were chewy in the middle, I had some that tasted greasy? The strawberries were warm and looked possibly cooked? I'm not sure if that was intended, but it was okay. The drink was warm and somehow arrived immediately when we asked about it some time after asked about its whereabouts. Was a 3/5 drink. Other drinks included a Bloody Mary which was pretty tame on the spice side but the size was defiantly not worth the price. Not a true New Orleans Bloody Mary but good if you want something "like" a bloody Mary. We also got the vanilla ice coffee and it was watered down and had absolutely no sweetness to it. Sometimes that can happen so just be aware. Another got a plain black coffee with a 1.00$ extra for cream. That was kinda bizarre. They were also out of straws and that happens but they could atleast wipe their cups dry so there isn't dry spots on them. One of our members got a breakfast platter and there was a whole cooked egg in the stone grits. Wasn't expecting that. The Benedicts was defiantly the highlight of this restaurant so if its your first visit I would recommend that as it came out very tasty and worth the price. Party of 4 with 4 meals and 4 special beverages was $91ish so I would label this place as a new Orleans *inspired* brunch restaurant that trys to sway towards fine dining level prices. I do think Big Bad Breakfast still reigns as the best brunch place in this side of Birmingham. I'd say go here once for the experience but keep the above in mind. Waited 20 minutes for the waiter to stop by so we went to the front to pay. Apparently that wasn't the correct thing, but the nice hostess took off the coffee and the greasy French toast meal.

So, the food was really good…and our waiter was amazing. The hostess who sat us…oh my, she was incredibly rude. We went for my bday brunch…checked in online and everything. First, our waitlist place was cancelled even though our party checked in. So supposedly they fixed that. But then when I asked she said wait for our whole party…we’re here lol. So then we get seated and she proceeds to tell us if our other guest shows up she will not be able order unless we wanted to get back on the waitlist. 4 of 5 of us were there and we were at a table already (5th person a maybe) so then we asked if we could just order for her in case…so she said, we could but if it gets cold we couldn’t complain. Like really….then she proceeded to tell our server to make sure he knew our guest wasn’t allowed to order if she came. Other than that…my flight of mimosa’s were great and the Sweet Heat chicken and French toast was amazing 😊

Service was fast and friendly. Definitely would return based on the service alone. Katie was so sweet. The food was good enough. The bacon was average (not bad though, just your typical diner bacon), the grits and breakfast potatoes were pretty good, and the biscuit and pancakes were really good. The pancakes were my favorite; crispy edges and fluffy center. So good! The omelet left a lot to be desired. It lacked flavor and was overcooked, so the eggs were kind of rubbery. The mimosa flight was pretty, but only 2 of the flavors (blueberry lavender and watermelon pomegranate) actually tasted like the names. The other two (blue orange and pineapple peach) just tasted like sparkling wine. The estaurant is your typical diner atmosphere with a bar added. It was clean, but you could tell it's been well used and receives lots of TLC. Definitely a decent choice for breakfast when you're in town and on the go.

this place has gone DOWNHILL. our server was the bartender as well and had the most tables. she clearly had to much on her plate and was unable to keep up with our table and her others. i ordered the “blueberry ube margarita” mocktail, it was heavy on the artificial sweeteners and syrups which made it taste like medicine, i told our server and her response was that “no one likes that and always sends it back” with an eye rolls as she just took it from the table not asking if there was anything else i wanted. if she knew no one liked it i feel like that should’ve been mentioned prior, would let my tables know personally. along with that two of our orders were incorrect, she would come to the table to check on us and then walk away with no answer. I asked the manager because he was sitting at the bar on his computer, he assured me he would grab the stuff we were missing but we never got it. to make matters worse, almost the ENTIRE staff was SITTING at the bar talking, some of them were eating at the bar, and i thought that was quite rude as we were sitting there with our food in togo boxes and our check along with the card on the table WAITING for our server to close us out. Another lady was there as well who seemed to be of some sort of management and was having loud conversations with other employees that shouldn’t have been had around customers. needless to say, i won’t be back. over the past 2 years ruby has lost some of their best severs and management, todays visit really...

I placed an order online. My food had not come up so I asked the manager if my food was ready or close to ready. She went into the kitchen. She came back. It was not what I ordered. I asked for a refund instead of waiting because at that point now I've had groceries in the car for over 20 minutes which included fresh fish. She then goes into the kitchen and I wait another 10 minutes. I got there around 12 :05. My order said it was to be ready at 12:13. I got it about 12:23. I left there at 12:33. It took her another 10 minutes to process the refund. Meanwhile, I'm standing there at the bar. I see the grossest things. One lady who appeared to be helping out, continued to wipe her hair and her nasty pants. They were dirty, you could see it, and then I saw her put her entire hand over the glass top of another patron. Not to mention a whole lot of other things I saw people doing with their hands without washing them or even wiping them. So I'm already skeptical about eating here. So I'm just praying that the kitchen is not as nasty. The order was wrong just give him me the refund and I'll move on my way, never to return HERE. Then the attitude I got from the manager was rude and dismissive. Never did I raise my voice. Never did I have a scowl on my face. I was never rude. It was...
