The meal I chose off the Birmingham restaurant week specials was the pan seared snapper over grits, this was very tasty with the sweet potato haystacks on top of it really added a little punch of flavor along with the cream sauce! The service was excellent, and the scenery was awesome. The only negative thing that I could find was the chairs were a little uncomfortable sitting in. however, I will come back and try something off of their regular menu because it all sounds really good and this is the first time ever being in in the restaurant at the botanical gardens.

Lovely restaurant inside Birmingham's botanical gardens. They have a great menu ranging from salads and sandwiches to full entrees. The service was excellent and the food was exquisite. We were there for restaurant week. I had the pan seared trigger fish and my wife had the tomato pie both were delicious.

Wonderful atmosphere dining inside with ample room between parties to feel very safe. The pasta was great as was the tomato basil soup. We especially liked the bread before lunch and the stroll through the garden afterwards. Yet another cultural treasure in Birmingham.

Not happy with the management here at the Garden Cafe. Called and talked with the manager Adam and reserved a date for a bridesmaid luncheon over a month ago. And because I had not confirmed a menu for the event, he gave away my reservation without even calling me to let me know. I found out today, one month before the event. I had been trying to contact him for the past week to firm up details, menu, flowers, etc. and was informed that I no longer had a reservation. He told me that he had been sick this week and that is why he had not returned my calls (at least 3 calls had been made with messages to contact me) or returned my email. In the past I have held two bridesmaid luncheons at the cafe and was extremely pleased with Sylvia, the manager, and her staff that served us. I am so disappointed with the management now and will not longer use them for events or recommend them...

I host a large seated banquet annually. Natalie and her entire team are amazing! They are true, experienced professionals, and the events they have catered for me have been perfect. The team functions like a well-oiled machine--- they even graciously and gracefully rescued me from a last minute date mix-up one evening, and I think it might have been the best event ever! Natalie and her Kathy G Team catered my daughter’s wedding reception at the Gardens Café and The Botanical Gardens. All of our guests raved about the atmosphere, the food, and the stellar service-- and my daughter was thrilled with everything. I highly recommend Kathy G’s for any event, and I would not use...
