My hubby and I just moved here and came to the downtown area to have a look. We ordered drink(margaritas) it is our safe choice of drink in a new place. Upon getting the drink it was very bitter and sour with no taste or flavor. I could not finish the whole drink. I was reluctant to try anything else but I may give it a try in the latter with a booth reservation.

We were excited about this place but this was sad and disappointing. The drinks were terrible (espresso martini). The food tasted like it had been frozen and thawed and placed in a microwave. It’s not a speak easy like advertised, it’s a sports bar. They took our glass cups anway and gave us plastic cups? And said “because we dont like to do dishes.” That was the cherry. It’s a great idea and could be so much more. Maybe need a new manager, but your social manager was...

The drinks are disgusting. And at 14-16$$ you shouldn't be using BARTONS and CHEAP MIXERS. Those are $6 drinks at best. Serving regulardegular bar food that you can get literally anywhere in that sort of upscale atmosphere is crazy. Especially ALSO at those prices. Another boring, overpriced, low quality "concept".There are way better golf simulator/mini bowling places in Birmingham. This place is doing...

The Lodge is an absolute hidden gem inside Fairway Social Birmingham. The vintage speakeasy vibe is spot on, and the live music is INCREDIBLE every single time we come.
