ABC Select Spirits — Local services in Birmingham

We went there because the prices are good and the location is convenient. We were disappointed because The Glenlivet price on the shelf stated $93.99 (which seemed reasonable). When we take it to the register it comes up $96.99. Both my husband and I said , hey the shelf price says $93.99.....And can you believe the audacity of the cashier to tell us that its coming up $96.99 and she cannot change the price! What? Is this AMERICA? WHAT? Well my husband said he refuses to pay the higher price when its obviously false advertisement! She again tells us that she cannot and does not know how to change prices.... I told her that we will stand here while she calls someone that does know how to change the price to the lower it to shelf price we saw advertised (she can see it herself).... Long story short she called at least 4 people until they told her to just adjust the tax price (we're still not understanding why that instead of just discounting the price that came up)..... So at the end she ends up giving us $3.82 off instead of just adjusting the price for $3.00 off. The whole story is worse than that and much longer but I'm sure glad we finally got our bottle of The Glenlivet at the advertised...

The Cashiers didn't greet me when I walked in, there were three women but they greeted all the men that walked in and even when I went to the register I still wasn't greeted nor was I thanked for my business. The two on the left of the counter talked the entire time about personal stuff using profanity. The employee that cashed me out was employee #011816. I don't go in this location often but stopped by because I was on this...

The selection at this location is not the best but it is on the Northside of Birmingham Alabama so closer than the one over in Lakeview District. The main problem i have with this location is the amount of street people sitting and approaching you for money. I would not send any of my woman to this location...
