Disappointing and Dirty Experience
I visited QDOBA around 6:30 pm on 10/27/24, and unfortunately, it was the worst experience I’ve ever had there. The restaurant was incredibly dirty—food was spilled all over the counter where they prepare the food, and there were flies buzzing all around. I imagine flies were doing the salsa dance in the salsas. The kitchen looked just as unkempt, which made me question the cleanliness of the food.
On top of that, many of the ingredients were almost empty, and I received the smallest little half scoops of everything. I ordered two burrito bowls, but the staff gave me tiny half-scoops of everything. I asked for fajita veggies and they said they were out. Personally, I think they were too lazy to make more food for the day, therefore, I got tiny little half scoops of ingredients. Seriously, my bowl was so tiny it was ridiculous. My wife was shocked at the size of her bowl when I brought it home. I even microwaved the food to ease my worries about cleanliness to hopefully kill any fly germs.
I believe the person who helped me was the manager, but maybe I am wrong, but the employee should have been wearing a beard net while preparing the food but was not. The employee was unfriendly, seemed like he didn't want to help me, and seemed lazy. I can see why the restsurant is so filthy inside when the manager has no care about personal cleanliness or for customers. He also ripped me off by giving me little tiny half scoops of food because he didn't want to make more.
I don't know why I paid and why I didn't just walk out. I should have just gone somewhere else. What a waste of money. Can't believe I ate someplace that was so filthy either.
This visit was the last straw. While I’ve had a few bad experiences here before recently, the quality has declined sharply. Spending over $20 on this tiny meal was a big waste, and I’ll be choosing other options, like Pancheros, which is consistently clean and generous with portions.
Qudoba needs to shut down, or get new...
Read moreI typically love Qdoba, but I have totally had it with this location. How many times in how many ways can an online order be screwed up?? For sure my last 3 visits at least. I specifically asked for extra sour cream in my burrito, and there was NONE. Not extra, none. And so when I went up to get some sour cream, the little gal with the pink hair at the till was a total sweetheart, but the heavier-set lady on the line next to her barely put any sour cream in a tiny little cup. When I laughed and said "well I asked for extra on my order, so can you double that?" the sour cream lady totally rolled her eyes at me and grabbed another tiny container and put in about half as much as the first time! I mean, I'm looking for sour cream on an entire burrito, Not half a taco. The previous visit they were almost out of fajita veggies and the gal working that night acted like it was totally empty and was so put-upon by pointing to the couple onions and peppers I could see in the corner of the container. The visit previous to that, I ordered online, steak fajita burrito prior to an appointment, and ate a chunk out of it in the car when I realized they hadn't put any STEAK in my freaking STEAK burrito.... Looks like I'll be visiting pancheros from here on out, even though I like...
Read moreHonestly, I love Qdoba food. But this store is managed very poorly. They were out of chicken for two WHOLE weeks; what kind of food establishment doesn't order one of their main ingredients? And the quality of food has steadily decreased since I became a patron.
They must have an awful hard time finding and keeping quality help, because I have received very poor service the last few times I've gone here. I've received an attitude from a number of the younger workers and I've heard them complain about how manipulative the management is to their workers, while I was eating in the restaurant.
The only two positives I have are two superior workers that outshine all of the awful experiences being a patron here. One is the bigger native guy, who always makes sure that my meal is exactly right and works with a cheerful smile and bright laugh. The second is the girl with the curly black hair who works almost every evening, I think her name might be Cat? She seems to ALWAYS be there, and she always goes out of her way to make sure my order is correct and she is unbelievably nice. I see her work her butt off when her coworkers are lazy and nonresponsive. These two make me come back, despite...
