Unable to comment on the food. I stopped by to try out this restaurant. I wanted a to go order. I was present with a bowl that the server grabbed from a box under the podium that she stuck her dirty hands in. Yes her hands were dirty, she was touching everything else before she came over to help. I then asked if I could look at the variety of food. I then came back to the podium another server was there, I asked for a clean bowl, she gave me the same one and then stuck her hands inside it as well. I asked her for a clean one and asked her not to put her dirty hands in the bowl. She gave me the box and told me to grab it myself. I said okay and did that. I then told her we would grab some food but the buffet area was very messy and thought she should know. She walked over and looked at the massive amount of food on the ground and counters and told me that there were busy earlier. I understand that it’s the customers that made the mess, so I was not upset by the mess. I was just pointing out that some containers had food that didn’t belong, food was on the counter as well as on the floor and to make the place look more presentable I think they should have cleaned it. At the time I walked in was approximately 2130 hours, the place was very dead, so I am sure the servers could have cleaned it. Anyways, she proceeded to tell me that the customers made the mess and she has no way of cleaning it. Hint: Broom, dust pan, towels, etc. I think cleanliness should be thought to your workers. Anyways, it’s my fault, I should have stayed home and cook my dinner. Thank for the motivation to cook, I actually went back home and cooked. Hope you don’t end up making someone sick. Most importantly, don’t let me tell you how to run your restaurant, clearly the employees think this...

Pros: Today was our first time going here and the food was very delicious and it was so cool watching the guys cook it and put on a show in front of you!!! The restaurant was very clean and all the staff was super friendly!! I loved how the restaurant was set up and how you get to pick whatever you want! Soooo much to choose from! Good job! 👍👍👍

Cons: Our waitress was super nice and friendly and very knowledgeable and all those great things, but we had 4 empty plates and 3 empty glasses on our table and she checked on us twice and didnt take them either time, i eventually had to flag her down to come get them out of the way. It drives me nuts when we eat somewhere and they dont take your empty plates when they stop to check on you. My only other complaint is one of the waitresses in a tye-dye headband had WAY too much patchouli oil perfume on, so bad that it was making me nauseous and gave me a migraine almost...

I will say my husband loves this place because you mix your own stir fry and he can make it as spicy as he wants. And the service was great. But if it wasn't for that, I would rate it lower because it was very dirty: multiple food containers were empty and every raw food container had food from the others mixed in. In addition, the fry cooks just scrape their spatulas on the edge of the grill after mixing each order—there was fried gunk and bits of food everywhere. I was very concerned about contamination (especially with the flash-fry method that may not cook everything completely). In the sauce area, the plastic shield does not allow enough room to tip the ladles into your bowl, so sauce is spilled everywhere, including into the original sauce containers. So, if your goal is making your own food and you don't care about cross-contamination, you will probably like it. But I would not...

The food was ok but I've had better. This may be one of those situations where it's "good for North Dakota." It is all you can eat but I was honestly full after the first plate, so I didn't feel like I got my money's worth with that. To someone who can eat more this would be an awesome deal. The main course is self service from a buffet style line up, but the bowls are rather small to fit veggies on after your put a spoon of meat and noodles. What make this place so great was the service. I had a waitress named Kiri who was all smiles and pleasant. She helped me with everything she could think of to make it a fantastic experience. The chefs on the grill were equally pleasant. I would go back just for the service and who knows, maybe figure out a better mixture of ingredients while I'm there.

The food itself was great like always at a Huhot! The cook was pretty cool doing tricks with the spatula like if it was a hibachi place. Down fall was I stood in front for about 15min to be sited. They were changing the food to dinner and the manager was helping with that, but the fact of she saw me standing there waiting multiple times and not attending me was BS. I was about to walk out but I was hungry and craving Huhot. Also they only had 2 tables total occupied so the restaurant was close to empty so there was no reason for the wait. As well as the time it took for me to even get the correct drink. This location is not a place I would go again since there priorities are not straight. If you got all the time in the world, I'd say go for it.

We stopped in pre-flight to treat our family for making a 5-hour round-trip trek to get us to the airport. Mongolian BBQ has been a family fav for decades, in CA, so we were thrilled Bismarck had one. We like the food choices and no Canola, and the choose-your-own ingredients fun. We love the sauces and all of the fresh ingredients, as well as the frozen, thin-sliced protein choices. We wish the seafood offerings were better—bigger scallops, not tilapia, and maybe shrimp. Maybe real crab would be asking too much. The real surprise was dessert, won-ton stuffed with cherries and cheese. And good coffee. Our server Riley was super-sweet, and had a quiet sense of humor. We’ll make this place a tradition from now on when we’re in Bismarck.
