Decided to try Taco John's for the first time while driving through on a cross country move. My wife and I were tired and didn't want to make food when we stopped for the night. After this, I regret not just slapping together a sandwich or something.
Probably won't ever go to another Taco John's, even though it was probably just this location in particular that's trash considering some of the other reviews.
Oh, and the woman who took our order and did the transaction at the window was the worst. Had an attitude from the first word through the speaker (even audibly sighed/scoffed when we ordered the fried chicken taco combo for some reason) and when I said "Thank you", this foul demeanored little goblin could only muster an "Uh huh". Thanks for single handedly making us hate a whole franchise.

Read moreI generally enjoy Taco John’s, but this particular establishment apparently was terrible. For one, the potato oles were extremely over cooked (some almost to the point of being virtually inedible). However, the worst part was the super potato oles I ordered. Apparently, at this establishment, when someone screws up a customer’s order, it is acceptable to just literally flip it over. I had asked for no sour cream, and on the bottom there was a huge glob. They didn’t even attempt to remove any of it before doing it. Having worked as a cook in the past, I have to say that whoever had that “genius” idea is one of three things: an idiot, an a**hole, or a lazy pile. Worst Taco John’s I’ve ever been to. I’d recommend this branch about as much as an unnecessary colonoscopy, which is to...
Read moreI recently visited this Taco John’s location and was absolutely shocked and disgusted by what I overheard from one of the employees. While waiting for my order, I clearly heard staff members making hateful, racist comments—including references to the KKK and vile statements implying that George Floyd “deserved” to die.
This kind of openly racist behavior has no place in any business, especially one that serves the public. It’s not only unprofessional, it’s morally reprehensible and completely unacceptable. If Taco John’s values its customers and community, this needs to be addressed immediately.
Until I see accountability and action taken, I will not be returning—and I encourage others to think twice about supporting a business that allows this kind of hate speech...
