My boyfriend walks in to buy us both ice cream cupcakes. He pays and the cashier tells him to grab 2 (that he paid for) around the corner in the freezer. So he does. He gets out to the car and two young adult males in Dairy Queen uniforms asking us to roll down the window. He rolls down the window and we were immediately asked âdid you pay for those?â He responds with âyes I did I paid with cashâ. The worker then, instead of going to review the security footage, or see a receipt or anything continues to accuse us with âwell my worker said you didnât payâ. Meanwhile, the second worker with him not saying a word was vaping the entire time. Practically blowing e-cigarette smoke in our face the entire time- and they want to question our character while blowing smoke in the face of customers? What a joke. They then slowly walk away shaking their heads in disbelief to some workers around the back of the building peaking their heads around the corner. Because it makes total sense to blatantly walk in and steal under $10 worth of ice cream and walk out right in front of them. To top it off, the workers were the opposite of apologetic and still didnât believe us at the end of the conversation. I hope they check their security footage at the end of the night- they could use some humbling. Besides, might be a good idea to check footage or ask other cashiers or something before just walking out and accusing customers without apologizing about it. Oh yea, it also might be beneficial for them to tell their workers of they shouldnât vape in the faces of customers- just a...
Read moreI went in to this location today to order a blizzard cake with edible logo for my son's birthday. When I arrived, I immediately asked how much time/notice they need to make a cake. Staff replied with 24 hours. I ordered lunch for all of us and asked for the book of designs to pick from. 15 minutes later when I finished eating, I went back to the counter to place my order for the cake that I needed in 48 hours. The one worker said he didn't know how to place an order for a cake and just looked at me so I asked if there was somebody else in the back working that could help. He went to the back to speak to the first gal that took my food order and returned to tell me that she said they need at least 3 days notice so if it's before that, they can't do it. I replied that 15 minutes ago when I got the design book I was told they only needed 24 hour notice. He just shrugged his shoulders and moved on to another customer. Staff at this location were not friendly and helpful. So, after this I went to the parking lot and called another location. This gal told me they only needed 24 hours and was extremely helpful and polite to help me place an order for my cake over the phone. She even pulled out the design book and flipped through it while I tried to describe the image I wanted over the phone. I'm glad the other employees were friendly and helpful but disappointed I will now have to drive across town to pick up my cake because it seems as though the employees just didn't want to be bothered with...
Read moreDairy queen is a treat and suppose to make you feel good. The high prices, deteriorating environment and unsanitary conditions totally outweigh the friendly service from the new hire behind the till, and I will not return. Friendly and prompt service from a new hire on the till and trainer behind her. There was another employee in the back making orders. High priced; $6.80 for a medium cone with nuts and chocoate. Multiple flies buzzing around; landing on employees and counters. Yuck. It was humid and warm outside but even warmer and muggier inside the building. Looked around and found the interior dirty and deteriorated (cracked tile, dusty, some places rusty, paint peeling). My cone was made wrong by that employee in the back, so I asked them to make it again. Remade it with only half the normal amount of nuts and the dipped chocolate was dripping down the cone and onto his fingers, as he was holding the cone out for me to take. I said, "that looks like a mess." He handed it to me without a word and walked away. So I cleaned off the cone myself. I was really tempted to hand back the cone and ask for a refund. I didnt, but in hindsight I should have. So, save your money and buy ice cream the next time your at the...
