I had just lost 80 dollars on the Craps table Christmas Day, was down and hungry, walked over looking for a hamburger and found Jakes's Deli, the line was long, the wait was forever, I think close to 45 mins, but no one cared, I looked behind the counter and saw only one woman for a while and then a guy showed up to help, I felt so sorry for them working on Christmas day here with us instead of their family, the double burger and onion rings were 10.00 with a free soft drink, not a bad price and really tasted great, well worth the wait, I thought of it as my 90 dollar hamburger. I’ve gone here the last four years throughout maybe once or twice a year and it’s the same service the whole entire time nobody wants to work everybody’s on their phone. The rudest customer service they don’t wanna talk to you or give you what your food is I had just five drinks ordered for Red Bulls and it took them 30 minutes to give it to me. The Lodge was hot and miserable again throughout the day and evening. The staff advised the heat could not be turned off, that the heating system was broken. Was like a sauna.
