I’m not thrilled about the interaction I had here yesterday in the drive thru. I ordered a sandwich, pulled up to pay, and noticed the current promotion: buy a $25 gift card, receive an extra $5 and a free bagel with cream cheese. I told the cashier I wanted to get that promo offer. So he grabs another employee to help him ring up my order (you could tell he wasn’t sure what to do), and hands me the gift card and a receipt that has my $5 extra. I figured the free bagel with cream cheese would be a voucher, so I asked “what about the bagel? Do I get some sort of voucher for that?” and the cashier said he wasn’t actually sure so he went and grabbed the other employee again for help. She helps him with ringing it up, and tells me “next time you want to do the promotion you have to tell us what bagel you want so we can ring it up”. I explained to her I wasn’t aware I was supposed to get the bagel right then and there, I thought it was a voucher. She proceeds to give me attitude about it because it needs to go in their system. Maybe educate your employees better on the current promotions? The original employee clearly had no idea what was going on and that’s no reason to give me attitude about how I need to do things ‘next time’ - he should have asked me what bagel I wanted if it wasn’t going to be a voucher for future use. Or have better signage explaining your promotion? It was a sheet of paper someone spent maybe 2 minutes typing up, printing, and slapping on the window. And to top it all off, my...
Read moreStarts out disappointing - but ends happily - I promise! I stopped on my way to work this morning....day one of the shut down, which coincidentally is also the day I decided to bring in a dozen bagels for my coworkers. Admittedly I've never brought bagels into the office nor have I ever ordered a dozen before. I was awkward - so many flavors to choose from, I was in the drive thru, and I asked for them all sliced (I know, I know! but in my defense I thought they had a slicing machine!) I'm not going to get in to how much I was craving a cinnamon sugar bagel with cream cheese, but I had been thinking about it since the day before. I apparently find comfort in carbs! So I ordered, paid and drove the 21 miles down 65 to work. Was SO excited to share and eat bagels! Only to find NO CREAM CHEESE was in the bag :( :( I was bummed, no doubt about it. I called the store, spoke with Nesi. He apologized and initially tried to work out having some delivered, but I work too far away. So he offered to send a coupon to my home for a redo. I can't tell you enough how much great customer service will make a simple mistake turn into a good experience. I appreciate how hard everyone is working to adjust during this time! Thank...
Read moreI’ve been to Bruegger’s Bagels before, but I wanted to leave a review after my recent visit on March 18. The service was exceptional, and I had a great experience. The female staff member who assisted me was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was prepared just the way I wanted. It’s rare to experience such personalized service, and I really appreciated her going the extra mile to ensure my order was perfect.
My girlfriend, who is from Canada and doesn’t live in Minnesota, always looks forward to coming back to Bruegger’s whenever she visits. She loves the bagels here, and it’s a treat for her to have them during her trips. What really stood out to me during this visit was when I asked for a bag, the staff member immediately stopped what she was doing to make sure I had one. It’s little gestures like this that really make a difference and show how much they care about providing a great customer experience.
Overall, I’m always happy with my visits to Bruegger’s, but this one stood out for the outstanding service. I’ll definitely be returning, and I highly recommend it if you’re craving delicious bagels with...
