I ordered on the mobile app around midnight. They were busy so I waited about 30 minutes in the drive-thru. That was fine, it's understandable that the place was busy. What is not understandable however is that I was intentionally given all the wrong items, like the employees, who were all grown adults mind you, were playing a prank on me and my wife. We ordered 2 Burgers, 2 fries, and then the Buffalo nuggets, the ghost pepper nuggets, and the honey bbq saucey nuggets. We received 2 fries, no burgers and no sauced nuggets. However, and this is how I know this was intentionally; we were given 2 spicy unsauced nuggets and one non spicy nugget. To match the heat levels of the amounts of the nuggets we ordered in the quantity we ordered. And then they threw an excessive amount of sweet and sour sauce in the bag. We didn't ask for sweet and sour sauce, but they put a bunch in there, clearly to hint that we can sauce our own nuggets, they can't be bothered. Truly disgusting behavior. I've had my share of bad fast food experiences in my life, but before today it was either accidental, or so covert you would think it was accidental. I've never been so insulted by the actions of fast food employees in my life. And I certainly didn't expect such behavior from a Wendy's. I think we can all agree, if it were a Burger King in the middle of the night, you should have your expectations pretty low. But you'd expect better of a Wendy's. Or at least, you used...
Read moreCustomer service has an issue with this place. I used to work at Wendy's 30 years ago, where we were trained in customer service. The food there is mostly good, but you can tell by the attitude of the employees that customer service is not the priority. The priority is to get the food out, rather the order is right or not. The attitude of some of the employees is nonchalant or downright unappealing. They act as if they're doing you a favor by serving your meal. Don't ask for condiments, you'd think that you asked for an organ or something. They need to be afforded the proper training. I understand that this is not the ideal job, and we all have bad days, but it's almost every time you visit the place. If you don't like where you are, find someplace else to go. You shouldn't have to check to see if your order is right before you leave a restaurant, every time you go to the restaurant. You shouldn't be afraid to ask for condiments. One time me, and my wife went through the drive-through and ordered some chili, love it by the way, but we asked if they had any chili sauce, the guy taking the order, quickly said no, but when we got to the window, my wife asked the lady giving us our food and she said yes they had chili sauce, but acted like it was a crime when we asked if she put some in the bag. Lack of training. The food is...
Read moreStopped by on my way home from work tonight for the first time and went through the drive thru. The gentlemen that took my order at the menu was excellent. I get up to the window and a young girl opens her window and shouts out my total. Ok, no problem. I say hello and give her my card. Strike 1. She hands me my drink, card, then my food. I say, "thank you". She shuts the window on me and begins talking loudly to her coworkers. Strike 2. I hunk my horn and ask to speak to the manager because clearly she needs more training. The manager comes to the window and I explain to him, that tonight was my first time visiting and how rude I had been treated. Not wanting anything free but to teach a lesson. He apologizes and says he will take care of it. This review is a teaching lesson for whoever is the owner of this franchise. I understand it is hard to find staff these days in the fast food industry but if this sort of behavior continues, no one will visit the location. We have to mentor our young people and this was...
