I'm talking from the experience of the Air B'n'B room that is above the restaurant. Well, Patrick, the host was super nice (he also looked quite a bit like Einstein which was cool). He informed my mom, my sister, and my two (youngest but older than me) cousins what each button went to, where everything was, and he even supplied stuff like body wash, shampoo, conditioner, ibuprofen, etc. There is a record player and over a hundred records made by different artists and of different genras. He also made us breakfast at 9:00 a.m. We ate a breakfast of granola and blueberries in a bowl with milk (I also had a glass of milk). The second thing he made was, well, on day one and day four (maybe day three. I have a terrible memory due to chemotherapy and Asperger's [Asperger's sydrome is on the autism spectrum]), a oven baked French toast thing with maple syrup. On either day two or day three we had a cheese and ham (I'm pretty sure it was ham) croissant. Either day two or day three I guess I forgot what the secondary food was. I would come here just to see Patrick. He even wanted us to go see him before we left just to say bye. Too bad I live about four and a half hours away from...
Read moreOur experience here was wonderful! Everything they made was quality. You could tell they cared a great deal about the food they served. We had the cheese in pastry for and appetizer, it was fabulous! We then moved on to a steak dinner. The steak was cooked perfectly and the sauce they had on top was delicious. Our sides were generous and tasty. Our dessert was a custard and cookie soaked in brandy. Every element of the dessert melted in my mouth. My husband had a glass of red wine that was, you guessed it, delicious!
I loved the French couple who owned the restaurant. You can tell it is there baby and they take great pride in it. They were very friendly, kind, and accommodating. I highly recommend...
Read moreThe owner was nice and took our order but then went to go sit with some other Francophones and completely ignored us. A waiter/son sat in the corner absorbed in his laptop and one had to go over to get his attention and when he delivered the mains he dropped the spoon into my plate and fished it out of the sauce with his own bare fingers. The mains were good but came with undercooked, unchewable cous cous (I think that's what it was). For desert we got a tired, dried out chocolate cake and a delicious raspberry cobbler. For the price, the experience was not terrible, I would go again if I were...
