Buckle up because this is going to be a bit long... Mrs. HB and I stayed right across the street from The Crazy Horse, so it was super convenient. Our FIRST visit was awesome! The soups and my grilled chicken sandwich were fantastic. And Ashley (pictured) was great. And the prices were some of the cheapest around. (NOTE TO MANAGEMENT - PLEASE don't use this as an excuse to raise prices. We LOVED the fact that the Crazy Horse was so reasonable!) On our SECOND visit, we ate outside, and once again, the food was great, but our server Brooke was absolutely amazing!!! So, since we had had such good luck, we talked all our group into eating at the Crazy Horse. That's where things went a bit south. On our THIRD visit, our party of 9 was served by a young lady that was CLEARLY NEW. It did NOT go well. Of the 9 orders, 2 were incorrect, and my daughter's was forgotten not once, but twice. 33% wrong or missing orders is not a good thing. To say our server was frustrated (and frustrating) is an understatement. In my opinion, management needs to take half the blame here. Not sure who assigned her to us, but it did not work out very well. So, to conclude this novela, The Crazy Horse was a great place to eat, but it could have been better.

Thursday night, I was hoping this was going to be a good experience, the other place I was considering was the Irish Lion pub (regrettably I should have gone with that option). I rolled in about 17:45 not busy at all, no one at the front desk and had to wait, okay. The male greeter asks how many so I let him know and ask for a booth, he tells me he can only seat me in the back at a small booth he has to keep the other (there were4) open???? For what?? I just have a dislike for being seated in the back mount the way and forgotten about but you know, this won’t happen right? Waitress makes an appearance, I ask about the local beer on tap and couldn’t answer. She did however allow me to try two. Looking over the menu I settle for the steak and salad which does come out pretty fast. A bit bloody. Potatoes were good. Dissapointing my no one checked in on me until the end at which point the check came pretty fast. Didn’t stick around for desert. Overall dissapointed in cost, service and atmosphere and being dumped in the back when tables open else where and requested. Not military friendly. Won’t be back.

Was in the mood for some good ole fashioned Middle of the country American food. So I headed on over to Crazy Horse. Very conveniently located in the downtown area near campus, it's a fun pub vibe. Got a spicy margarita to start my dinner and it was fine, I actually don't know if there was any alcohol in it. But go here expecting mostly sandwiches and bar type food. The service was great and I sat outside since it was a pretty perfect night. I was feeling a burger (they have an entire page of the menu dedicated to it) and built one with Beer Cheese, bacon jam and poblano peppers. I was disappointed they recommend the burger to be cooked to medium but it wasn't too dry. The double burger was kind of hard to eat and a touch messy but that's the charm right? Overall it was a great burger with good flavor. I recommend checking it out if you are on campus for a game.

This restaurant was such a pleasant surprise. We were in town for a wedding and our family went to eat here. I was expecting the average American fare restaurant. Instead, everything we got was especially flavorful with incredible freshness and chef-level twists that put the food here as a top-level, must repeat visit experience. Every appetizer, entree, and dessert for our party of 4 was absolutely delicious. The toppings and sauces for everything from salads to sandwiches were special. I had a peach salad that was so amazing. The homemade dressing on it was like nothing I've ever had - perfect compliment to the salad. We had the pork sliders as appetizers for the table and had to order more, they were so good. The homemade chips were so good and different. Mark's Cuban was a hit with my husband - again, expecting a solid Cuban sandwich, but somehow the chef added a twist to the traditional and it was so much more.

On top of the food being great, the service was great! I can name only a handful of restaurants where the server could explain any dish, ingredients, and what made it special. He gave recommendations on his favorites when asked (like the salad special, Cuban, sliders), and we were blown away by good those were. The beer selection is excellent. We ate outside and it was just so nice. My husband, who isn't one to talk about restaurants, wanted to go back the next day and I overheard him telling his relatives to eat there when they go back to visit. With IU football doing so well, I have a feeling the family will make more trips back to the area to enjoy...

Crazy Horse is 100% my go to restaurant. The owner Ron and his wife are truly great people and it shows in their restaurant. The environment is warm, fun and enjoyable. I've never had less than great service though (and I go once a week at least). The have the best chef around and all of their food is freshly made, not frozen. Even their mozzarella sticks are hand battered. I'm rather picky and I've never had a meal there that doesn't surprise me with it's greatness! I've tried many new things and I've loved every one of them. Let's not forget the alcohol, there is quite an impressive array of drinks, beers, and whiskeys he has available! And the drinks are very reasonable as well!

The other "Crazy" thing is their prices. You can't even go to McDonald's or Burger King, and get a crappy meal for what you pay for an amazing meal at Crazy Horse. I don't know how they do it all to be honest, but the owners are both very smart people, they are long time locals, and have proven themselves to be very successful and caring business owners.

The staff (and the owners when we run into them) always make us feel welcome and take great care of us. They have TV's everywhere and can get things on their TV's many others cannot. I also love sitting outside on the patio when it's nice outside too! If you make Crazy Horse your go to as well I seriously doubt you'll every be disappointed with anything. It's hard to please everyone these days, but in my opinion and all of my friend's opinions it's safe to say you'll...

Had been there and ordered from this place in the past, and was generally satisfied, but ordered once again tonight, and found everything to be EXTREMELY disappointing. And I DO mean EXTREMELY. The food we got, for the price we paid was unacceptable. We had ordered several meals this night, two of which I'm ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE we were shorted on. It was supposed to be two FULL RACKS of ribs, which we paid in excess of $20 each on, but when it arrived, was only half a rack. I work in a grocery store, and know a full rack of ribs when I see it, this was clearly NOT what was advertised. The sides that came with it were ridiculously small, and poor quality. Had the Mac n Cheese, and Baked Beans, which, were in fact NOT baked beans at all. You don't add some sugar, to a can of Hormel canned chili, and call those baked beans. Mac n Cheese was alright. Ribs, as I stated, not what was ordered, for the price. Side of fries, underfried, and frozen fries at that. Got a crab dip, which was exceptionally fishy smelling, not to mention, we've bought this exact dip at a local grocery store before... it's the same exact crab dip! Come on... the public ISN'T as stupid as you might think us to be!

Do I sound upset? Yes, I do, because I AM upset. We paid a lot for this... "crap" that we received, and I will say right now, that this "establishment" has lost some customers, that order in NO SMALL QUANTITIES. Congratulations, Crazy Horse. You've screwed me over for...
