Brewer's Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Blue Springs

Pleasantly surprised! After reading the reviews I was a little scared. I'm glad I didn't let that deter me. this is more of a restaurant than a bar. It was fairly busy. I was greeted immediately by Maddyn who was also new to Brewer's, that comes to play later ; ) she asked for my drink and it was brought out quickly. She told me the special was a steak or chicken philly for $7.99 I added a salad for 1.49. within 5 to 10 it was hot and ready. i had asked if they ever play the UFC that's when I met Leslie one of the family owners. she was very nice but told me they don't buy it but named off a number of places that do which I thought was immpressive. You can see from the pic the salad was worth the extra 1.49. the Philly was loaded up. the steak was nice and thinly sliced and for an added ease of eating they also cut the meat vertically. it was sprinkled with a seasoning that gave it a great flavor no additional sauce needed. it was moist and tender. Maddyn suggested their Brewer's sauce which is similar to Ranch and hot sauce but I thought it tasted great the way it was. I told Maddyn I was new to the area and she extended her knowledge of the area that was outstanding! she's very personable. I got the bill and Maddyn explained that she told me the wrong special. no big deal, accidents happen. I didn't get the special price which I was a little shocked about but it will not keep me from coming back. the bill was $16 for me to have the philly but I had the salad and a 2.50 beer and of coarse i tipped 20%.beer is cold, food is good and the service is greet! My husband and I went to Brewers today at around 2:00ish. The place wasn't crowded at all and was easy to find good seating. We decided to have a seat at the bar. The Waitress/Bartender was as sweet as could be. Very personable!

The food was amazing!! We started with Homemade Kettle Chips with Queso. OMG!!! YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS! SOOOO GOOD!

Next, we each got a Vodka Water and a Splash of Cranberry to drink. (Don't judge, we are on a day date). The drinks were nice and STRONG... not complaining.

For our entree, we split the Smokin Bird with tater tots. The chicken sandwich was delicious along with the yummy fried tots! Not to mention the Brewers sauce is a yummy addition.

This is a great place for a yummy bite to eat or even a fun hang out spot...

Looks like I am either an exception here or the only honest one. Three of us dined last wed night. One order was for a BLT with extra crisp bacon. The order was delivered and the bacon was LIMP, so I asked the server to have it cooked more. She returned 20 minutes later (after the other 2 in the party had finished their meal. The bacon was still undercooked, the lettuce and tomato were missing. The fries were the same one from the first service.(cold) Asked to talk to the manager and the son of the owner came out 10 minutes later.
