Very disheartened after my visit today. I've been visiting this location for 3 years now. Getting the same drink, same size for almost 2 of them. While I've had some issues with the taste, mostly the drink being too sweet, I started requesting less pumps of syurp to help with that! After awhile they stopped honoring my request because my drinks were MUCH sweeter than they've ever been. So today I decided to try something different. Basic, only 1 pump of vanilla, short and sweet. My total was almost $8!!!! Was not expecting that at all, when the lady at the window told me my total I asked if they'd started making the drink and she told me no, so I switched to my original order. She was fine and there didn't seem to be any issues, until she told me my new total. Still over $7?? Again, I've ordered this same drink for almost 2 years straight, several times a week and my total has always always been $6.03. So just out of curiosity I asked her if they'd upped their prices lately as it's been a few days since I've visited. She turned to the girl working behind her making the drinks to ask and the girl rolled her eyes and said she "had no idea". I finished paying and when the lady at the windows turned around to get my drink, the girl handing it off made a comment "if you can't afford coffee why come here". I was extremely taken back and honestly a little mad at the remark. I got my drink and asked the lady at the window for the girls name(I was originally just going to contact someone privately on the matter with the employees information) when I was told I needed to "move along" because "they had a long line waiting" and the window then closed. There was quite literally ONE car that had just pulled up to order as we were talking. I'm not sure if she's new, this is her first customer service job or just simply having a bad day- but I don't think any of it was appropriate nor does it make me want to return. Read moreUpdating to add - the true manager of this location did follow up with me Monday morning and was very receptive to my feedback and customer service frustrations. She was very kind, and I was very impressed the business followed up on a customer concern! Still bummed over the whole situation, but it was resolved in a professional way and that’s much appreciated!
Please stop offering ordering ahead on the app of the customer still has to announce their arrival before the order will be made. What is the point? Truly. And the order is paid for thru the app, so if a customer doesn’t pickup their order timely, that would be on the customer not Scooters. Aligning with other food establishments/ coffee shops on the benefits of mobile apps, ordering ahead, etc would be really beneficial for the business and us regulars! Or please advise the store to have a better line system at minimum. Order ahead VS drive thru? Today was chaos per usual on a Saturday morning. Taking tips and tricks from chick fil a or Dutch bros would be so appreciated!? Also, as others have mentioned, the manager at this location is atrocious. She is just unkind. I don’t think coaching on customer service skills would go very far. Have had a couple of interactions with her over the years, but today’s interaction took the cake. Also, most importantly, the coffee is so hit or miss. The prices are too high (everywhere, not just scooters) to be paying $8 for a warmed up cup of milk. Please get with it scooters! Read moreMe and my daughter came through the drive through today to pick up coffee on the way to run a few errands. We both ordered a couple Harvest Moon seasonal ice coffees. We normally order these seasonal coffees at our location by our house. When we came to the window the girl at the window did not greet us and even ask how our day was like the location by our house normally does. This location was not friendly at all. When me and my daughter received our coffee right away they had gave me the wrong size. Both coffees looked like cold brews. I said are these for sure Harvest Moon Iced coffee. They said they were. We tried them and they were bitter. The lady at the window said I will go get my manager right away. That was not necessary. We just wanted the drink that we ordered. The manager came to the window and was very rude. She said that we ordered a drink with mocha in it and that is what we got. I told her we did not order a drink with mocha in it. We ordered the Harvest Moon. She said that drink does not exist. She said people make up drinks all the time. I told her that we order that quite frequently at our location by our house. She just walked off. She did not say sorry for the confusion. After she walked away. Me and my daughter could hear the ladies that worked there discussing the situation and laughing.
