We went to this restaurant with great expectations, someone recommended it a small store front Italian café husband and wife work there said they’ve been there seven years our first experience very small menu food was very good but the attitude was not !!when we asked to split a entrée she said that she’s not doing that and when I asked for pasta not to be on my plate and have vegetables instead she said that would be an additional seven dollars also my friend asked for the salad not to have dressing on it and she said no it was brought out with the dressing on and my friend was not happy and when she told her that she took it back and said it was the first time in seven years that anybody has sent that salad back. Ricotta cheese cake was very good and reasonably priced at $6.95 dinner for two people with tip was $105 there was no atmosphere in this restaurant and she compared her self with a much more upscale restaurant in the area To justify her pricing She mentioned the their rent is so high and that they only buy limited foods because of that really I don’t care about their rent I care about the food the attitude was not what I expected From a small Italian bistro owner !!!and I will not...
Read moreI have been here many times and the food and service were excellent. About a month ago I was there for a very special occasion dinner. We tried to order side salads but the server argued with us and insisted on bringing expensive appetizers and said she would put lettuce underneath. The appetizers looked very nice but contained nothing we wanted to eat and there was no lettuce. We complained when we got the bill and she stormed off and came back with the chef. The two of them then argued with all the guests. We paid and left but will not be going back. The owner turned a special occasion into a disaster !
I received a reply from the owners and I’m upset that it did not reflect what we tried to order—side salads! We received expensive antipasto platters that had absolutely no lettuce to be found anywhere on the plates. And no, my friends did not call me names. I’m sorry I selected this place for our celebration but I learned a lesson and...
Read moreI been here a couple of times, let's start with how welcomed the chef and his wife make you feel, I love it. The first time years ago we order the Chicken Piccata and Chicken Marsala, both of them were very fresh and delicious. We have Driven past this place easily 100 times not thinking much about it but it's definitely worth a try. We thoroughly enjoyed it! So yes I did not post this a while back. Today we were thinking abut a great Italian place to eat and my wife said we need to go to GIUSEPPE'S cafe. Oh man let me tell you, what a great idea, we started with the special Burrata and prosciutto bruschetta, it was delicious. We continued with the Chicken Marsala (yummy) and I had the Spaghetti Amatrigiana, this took me back to Italy, fresh delicious ingredients. You need to give this place a try. Better than any other Italian place around and the hospitality is off the charts. I forgot to say that the tiramisu is one of the...
