I visit this establishment every day and spend a significant amount of money here. Working in customer service myself, I understand the challenges of the job and always try to be patient and understanding. However, today I had a disappointing experience with one of the staff members. I ordered an iced matcha with almond milk and no sweetener, as I am lactose intolerant and diabetic, so it’s very important that there is no added sugar in my drinks. Unfortunately, when I received my order and took a sip, it was extremely sweet. I politely asked the employee who prepared my drink to remake it without sweetener. She responded very loudly "NO YOU DIDN'T SAY NO SWEETENER YOU DIDN'T SAY THAT".. even though I had mentioned it twice because it’s so important to me. After some convincing, she finally agreed to remake the drink, but took an unusually long time. When my drink was handed back to me, it was made with regular milk instead of almond milk, disregarding my dietary needs. At that point, I felt so frustrated that I left without finishing my order and decided not to return. I recognize this is a large corporation, and my experience may not matter much to them, but I hope someone will take customer feedback seriously. Val the store Manager absolutely Amazing. Then her staff is so great Brooke and Andrew (there are many more but I can’t remember all their names) sorry everyone :-( but this location is so friendly and they remember your name, your order and (haha haha) and for me my credit card. One morning I was I there getting my Verona/ Pike Place mix (save room for cream) as I do most mornings. I was on the phone (like I am most mornings, sorry guys) and I had just found that there was a shooting at my daughter’s college and I was so engulfed in my conversation that I forgot my credit card at the counter. Well my Starbuck’s Family has my back. I was spastic when I went to lunch and raised my credit card was missing. Read moreI do not ever write bad reviews unless something really nasty or upsetting happens. I've been coming to this location for over 5 years. A newer manager that has been here for about a year or so just told me I can not come in with my service dog anymore. I have him due to a very bad motorcycle accident with a traumatic brain injury. It's very upsetting. Now starting at 6:30 in the morning my day is absolutely ruined I am very upset. Obviously if i called the police they could get in a lot of trouble for not allowing a service dog in the store but it is not worth doing that because I do not want to cause a scene and make my day even worse and get more upset today. I am in there just about every day with my service dog and a good customer and now I will not be returning to this...
