The food at Brantley has never disappointed me, the service sometimes questionable, particularly one server, who I won't name. After ordering my lunch today I was informed they were out of an item I had requested. I simply said "oh man" as I just had the craving for this particular item. I was not rude, nor confrontational. The server immediately said "sorry Pal" in a most unfavorable way. That set every hair on the back of neck on high alert. I quickly told him not to call me Pal, I was not his friend, nor was I his 'pal'. He then proceeded to inquire how I would like to be address, as 'Ma'am' or Miss and so on. I quickly asked him to simply remove himself from our table area. When our food arrived he did not place my meal in front of me but rather placed both plates on my friends side of the table, never returning to fill a glass or check on our meal. We finally had to ask another (most pleasant server) for our check. She promptly asked our server for it and he said "oh their ready" and then proceeded to continue wiping down the glasses at the bar area. When our check finally came I was pleasant, paid for my check and left him a more than appropriate tip (20%) even though his attitude was quite unsavory. Unfortunately this is my second experience this week with this server, once on a call in order ( I just hung up) and now this one. It is a moot point to stress my concerns to the manager, that's a whole other story in itself and not worth going into. As a whole I will not return to 259, nor will I recommend them, quite the opposite in fact, to the many quests who frequent our AirBNB in Boerne. I was embarrassed by his behavior (for him). He must be a family member of the owner or owners as anyone in their right mind would not tolerate nor support this type of behavior from a staff member. To be fair, the food is always on point, but the service is painful and I can think of multiple other small businesses in Boerne that I...

The drinks here are truly terrific. The bar staff clearly knows their craft, whether theyâre mixing a margarita or serving up a perfectly made pecan old fashioned. The menu offers a solid and satisfying selection, with something to please every palate. We found ourselves trying a few different cocktails throughout the evening and each one was expertly made and refreshing.
What really makes the experience stand out, however, is the service. The entire team, from the hosts to the servers, is exceptionally friendly and attentive. They manage to be efficient and prompt without ever making you feel rushed, creating a welcoming environment that makes you want to settle in and stay a while.
And staying a while is highly recommended, especially when the live bands take the stage. The entertainment schedule is a major draw, and for good reason. The bands we heard were very entertaining, offering a great mix of covers and original tunes that had the whole room energized. The sound level is well-managed, allowing for conversation at your table while still letting you enjoy the music.
259 Brantley's is the full package: great drinks, wonderful service, and fantastic live music. Itâs an excellent choice for a casual dinner, a night out with friends, or a weekend date. This is a standout establishment in Beorne and has easily become a...
Read moreI wouldnât even give this place 1 star!!! Our server was friendly. The menu did not have much to choose from. My mom ordered a salad and myself soup and a Croissant. As soon as the server set the salad down from across the table I could see a curly hair sticking straight up. We informed the server, she offered to have it remade (having been a server 15plus years I know how it goes. Just pick the hair out and call it good đ¤˘) but she decided to order something else. I took a bite out of my croissant and one sip of soup and damn near threw up!!! Not so much because of the hair but more of when the server took the salad back to the kitchen I could see through the 4in space between the door that the cook was upset like it was our fault. When someone reacts like that that means they donât care so now all I could think about was how careless that place must be they probably donât even wash their hands after the restroom. My mom also decided she lost her Appetite as well so we asked for the bill. The server asked if I wanted my food to be boxed up I said âNO!â when we received the bill they still wanted to charge for my soup and croissant that I had one tiny sip and bite out of. We asked them to take it off and they kindly did... But no way in hell would I EVER go back or recommend this place to anyone. FYI yes we did...
