Delicious food that made me glad to live in Boerne. We recently moved here from HI and have been struggling to find decent Asian food. We have found our go to spot. Rice was perfect. Sesame chicken was crunchy and perfectly seasoned the broccoli and the tiny cup of hot sauce that come with it are worth ordering the dish. Spring rolls are more like lumpia but they are wonderful. The only thing that would make it better is if they were served with mint leaves and lettuce to wrap them up. Service was friendly and fast. Weāve had curry here before and it was good but not as good as the Chinese items. Please make more Chinese dishes! The other places in town pale in comparison. šš¤¤š
Update: Something has happened and it is not good. The quality has gone downhill and the food is no longer worth it. We got take out and we were told the food would take a long time but we were in no hurry so we waited. It took a long time and when we finally got home to eat the food was minimal and the breading on the chicken was ice cold and soggy. We only live down the block so it should not have been this bad. Curries are bland and runny. I hope they go back to their old cooking habits because it was a joy to eat here...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came in and ordered a soup and spring rolls. The spring rolls were actually very good, but the soup had a strange smell right away. I decided to try a bite, and it tasted awful. The man working behind the counter saw my reaction but didnāt offer to replace it or suggest an alternative. I ended up paying for the full meal and leaving hungry. It was clear they werenāt concerned about whether I enjoyed my food. I regularly order this same soup at other Thai restaurants and have never had an issue. Being 7 months pregnant, I was genuinely hungry and wouldāve gladly accepted any substitute. Thankfully, thereās an ice cream shop next door that I love, and they happened to have food, which...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLove this quaint Thai spot! I've tried some other Thai restaurants in town and was confused with some of the dish's lack of ingredients or substitutions (never had Pad Kee Mao aka Drunken noodles made with Ramen noodles...not authentic). Give this place a try. Sarika, the owner, had a Thai restaurant in San Antonio for 20 years so she knows what she's doing in the kitchen. P.S. For all the negative comments about food quality, you probably should educate yourself on the difference between Chinese and Thai food. Mongolian Beef, Sesame Chicken, and Kung Pao are Chinese dishes...if you want good Chinese, go to a Chinese restaurant. Not...
