So there I was, standing in a state of utter befuddlement before the T-Mobile representative at the Boerne T-Mobile store as I listened to her say that there was no way she could even tell me what kind of deal I could get on replacing my S22 Ultra because I didn't have my driver's license with me. I had dropped the phone the day before, popping off the back and rendering the charging port useless. Having been a Sprint / T-Mobile customer for over 15 years, I had definitely tired of the poor coverage and poor customer service offered by T-Mobile, but still did not want the hassle of having to switch to another service. She proceeded to tell me that her manager would be able to help me, though! Eureka! My day was getting better! So of course I asked to speak to the manager. She informed me that the manager was off. I asked her if she could call her manager, and was told that the manager could not be called because he was off, and that I would have to come back another day. "You do know there's a Verizon store right down the road, don't you?", I inquired. "Yes", she replied, and then said no more. That was when I knew... So, with a looming sense of foreboding, I found myself standing in front of Garrett at the Verizon store. I told him of the absurd events which had just occurred, and he calmly and confidently informed me that he could do better. (It should be noted that I was quite visibly agitated, and expecting yet another deflating fiasco.) And then, he did better. Way better. When you read the reviews of this store, know that they aren't hyperbolic. His patience was astounding. He set up the trade in on my broken phone, offered me a very reasonable plan, and voila! I was the proud owner of a new Galaxy s24 Ultra. Now, all we had to do was get the transfer pin number. After we had twiddled our thumbs for 20 minutes waiting for T-Mobile's customer service line to answer (which they never did), he conferred with Cameron for a bit, then struck out on his own to find an answer. He figured it out in less than 5 minutes. I accord Garrett and Cameron the highest accolades for patience, competence, friendliness and even empathy. My coverage is much better than before, and any questions I have are sure to be answered quickly with a simple phone call to the Verizon store. So now I have fair winds and following seas, thanks to these gentlemens'...
Read moreI want to start off that I have been a Verizon wireless customer for over 12 years and have never had an issue whenever I went into a store or online with customer service until yesterday. Verizon wireless is a great company but I would never want a person like the one who worked with us, Mark Cunningham, ever assisting myself or anyone I know. My husband and I went into the Boerne Verizon Wireless store to add him to my account and port over his number from AT&T to Verizon. Mark completed our transaction and assured us it would take 4 - 6 hours to complete. Well four hours later my phone was not working nor was my husband’s so I went back to the store for additional assistance. When I walked in I asked Mark if he could help me as my phone was not working and wanted to see what the issue was. He took the phone from me and pushed some buttons and abruptly handed it back to me saying it was working and I just needed to have patience. I was offended but happy that the phone now worked. Before I left the store I decided to test it by calling my son but was advised by my son that the number was not mine but that of my husband’s that we brought over! Mark had not completed our transaction correctly and actually had the AT&T number transferred over to my number and cancelling out the one I have had for twelve years and use for business every day! As I was conveying this to Mark, he rudely told me to stop talking and he would handle it. He proceeded to get on the phone with customer service for but could not even convey what the issue was and when I asked if I could assist he got even ruder to me and walked away and told me “calm down lady!”. He would not allow me to even hear any part of the conversation with customer service. He treated me as if this entire situation was my fault and was so rude and disrespectful it was awful! I went home and proceeded to call customer service myself and had the most wonderful woman assist me for almost two hours to clear up most of the issue but I still won’t get my number back until tomorrow but thankful for all of her help and outstanding service. As for the service at this store - extremely poor manners and customer service by Mark...
Read moreLarry Lock the rep at Verizon in Boerne is the WORSE CELL PHONE REP I have ever interacted with in my life and the rep was not even helping me. Larry Lock showed his upmost character today of how to be a Unprofessional! I'm a former employee on the phone with verizon customer care and looking at a store iPad trying to figure out my acct. Larry Lock currently with 2 customers in front of him and also 3 customer waiting or being helped, yells across the store to me saying I can not be on the iPad and that it's properierty info. I was shocked cause I am a customer of Verizon and I have every right to look at my acct on the company iPad. I responded back to Larry saying I have every right to look at my acct. Larry Lock continues to talk dirty & down toward me in front of his customers as well as other customers in the store. Larry Lock continues to threaten me to leave the store or he will call the police for what reasons I said? I did not do anything wrong and that I definitely felt Larry Lock is Discriminating against me for I do not know why. I hope who ever reads this google review Knows that Larry Lock is a terrible terrible rep and so unprofessional. Larry you had to customers in front of you. You had no business yelling at me & absolutely no right in threatening to call the police on a customer that has 10 lines and spends $550 a month to help support your job. I hope this gets esclated to the highest power to make sure this unprofessional act does not ever happen again. Larry true leadership starts when you lead not cry or complain all the time. Grow up & be your age. Throughly...
