My family and I went in 30 minutes before closing time. There were six of us and we got a good size order. The owner was so kind and sweet and asked if we were gonna eat our stuff there or take it to go. He assured us that we were more than welcome to stay. It’s Christmas Eve and I know most of us celebrate Christmas as midnight. I knew he and his employees more than likely had plans and wanted to go home to their families. He offered a few times for us to eat there but we politely declined. I didn’t want to take away any more time from them as had already been opened all day. I love a place that offers great customer service and delicious food. This was our first time here (Houstonians) and I’m not gonna lie we have a lot of places like this back at home. This place by far is the best ice cream shop I’ve been to. Their ice creams have a lot of flavor. The corn in a cup was the best I’ve ever had. I don’t what they do different bc they all contain the same ingredients but it was so good. My husband had a mangonada and he loved it. This place has so many options and everything we got was good. First I want to say The store is always clean That's a big deal for me they always got gloves on. Extremely kind not phony very inclusive and then the food omg I've tried to go somewhere else But nobody can make it like they can I can't even pronounce it. But it's good now I'm at the age where customer service is important to me I don't mind tipping I don't mind cleaning up behind myself I love to pay it forward. But I prefer to do it I had a place that treats everybody kind and respectful. I have been greeted by my name when walking in the door now yes my name is on my uniform but it's just nice to go somewhere where they recognize your face.
