I first called on Friday and spoke with Oscar and he was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about what I needed to know about replacing my battery in my 14 year old car. I initially got a jump on the battery and thought , after driving it for 45 minutes , it was good to go. But the next morning proved otherwise. After a neighbor was not able to jump it, he was able to determine it didn’t have enough volts left in the battery to be jumped and would need to be replaced. My neighbor took the battery out of my car and placed it in my husband’s car. I took it to AutoZone in Boerne to get it replaced. Oscar was there and I was happy to see him, given that he was so nice the day before. Indeed he was. He went to my car and carried in the old battery, got the specs for the new one, and pulled it from inventory after I agreed to the purchase. He provided me with the $25 Core discount for turning in my old battery and, after complete ting our transaction, he carried it out to my car.

My neighbor was able to easily install the new battery and pointed out that the old battery was the original! This was my parents car, it sat in their garage, and seriously only went to the grocery store and church on Sundays. When I got it in 2016, it only had 21,700 miles on it. It had a total of 37, 650 miles on it when the battery died. Not bad for a 14...

I went to, AutoZone to see if they could help figure out, why my brake lights wouldn't turn off while parked. The problem had drained my battery! This wonderful, helpful, and friendly staff member offered to help. He explained that he wasn't a mechanic, but offered to help me look for a solution. He found out that it was something behind the brake pedal, but said that it couldn't be fixed there... after getting up from my floor board! I went on a website and decided that I would fix it on my own.😅 I went back inside, AutoZone to get the part/parts I thought would be needed. This awesome, man said that if I wasn't sure what the problem was he wouldn't advise it AND he said that he wouldn't feel right about selling me a part that might not work. That could also, put me and others in danger since I was basically winging it..... Brake pedal = NOT Stopping! My AutoZone, Angel offered another solution which was to disconnect the battery overnight in order to keep it from draining. There was also, a kind woman who was behind the counter and she was also very concerned. He even suggested that I try his mechanic... gave me a name to ask for and the name of the company. I feel as though I was truly blessed to have this staff helping me!!! 😇😇 Thanks for going over and beyond, the realm of superior...

My wife and I are in town for a few days. Staying at a hotel nearby. Get into our vehicle and it won't start. It's the battery. Need a new one. At this point my wife is freaking out because we need to be on the road to a very important appointment. I call the Auto Zone and they have the battery I need. I'm able to be given a ride to the Auto Zone since I couldn't use mine. The employees were very helpful. I purchase the battery, get back to the hotel and realize I need an additional tool to get the job done right. This time I had to walk from my hotel to the Auto Zone store. It's a few blocks away. They have the tool and quickly check me out. At this point they know of my situation and understand that I need to get back on the road. One of the managers kindly gave me a ride to my hotel where my vehicle is. It's was only a few blocks away however saved me quite a few minutes of walking time. I am truly grateful that there are dedicated people working at this Auto Zone. I don't remember all the names of the employees but they deserve kudos. Thank you again for the wonderful work you do.
