we just ordered online for pick up, and probably won't be doing that again. ordered a footlong flatbread that we recieved cold. i thought i was my fault for not putting "toasted" on the online order, except it doesn't have the option to ask for toasted for flatbreads. probably bc flatbreads are supposed to be toasted no matter what. like toasted flatbread is the default. it's very rare that someone doesn't want their flatbread toasted. i ordered extra bacon, and it was cold as well. the online order allows you to ask for more or less of an add on (like olives,) but no matter what, and this goes for EVERY subway, they drown your sandwhich in olives. i worked subway guys. it's 6 olives per footlong. it's the fattyist and contains the most flavor. a little goes a long way. i've literally gotten to the point where when i ask for olives, i say "a lil lil lil lil lil bit of olives." like all exaggerated and apologetic like i'm asking for too much to have 6 olives instead of 20. and most of the time that just gets me the normal amount of olives, when i literally mean less. not that i personally care, but it's also the most expensive add on that the store buys besides like avocado. let a customer ask for more if they want it. but i even ask for less, and it's still excessive. i normally don't say anything and take the extra off when i get home, but my partners sandwhich was missing olives lol they were missing two of their add ons. i'm only really disappointed bc this was our one splurge of the week and was supposed to be a pick me up. my sub costed $10 and my partner's was $8, something we don't always have extra money for. now i want a pick me up for these sad sandwiches, but we already spent the money at this location lol idk my lesson for all this is to not use the online ordering. you can't communicate immediately with the person making your sandwich and make sure everything ends up on your sandwhich. apparantly you can add special intructions right before you check out, so i guess ask for your flatbread to be toasted there?
anyway i don't feel this would be as much of an issue if subway paid their workers a living wage. minimum wage is minimum effort. invest in your workers please. there is no such thing as...

I went to this subway and I will honestly say the owner of the franchise needs to close the store and have the staff clean it for health and safey reasons.
The floors were real dirty with crums of food on and under multiple tables. Additionally, the floors looks like it has not been mopped for at least two weeks. Furthermore, all the fans in the store looked as though it was not even been dusted for over a year. Without this dusting allergens and dust particles have high probability to get into the food. These are signs of bad cleaniness in the store and I would not be surprised if the kitchen is something similar to Kitchen Knightmare show.
Additionally, the food handeling practices were not great. The areas had multiple opportunities where cross contamination could occur. The sandwhich making station was a mess and the standards should be higher for a clean work station. Furthermore, I noticed that the Associates did not switch gloves as often as other Subways neither did I observe none of the three associates wash their hands once. At the end the associate who handed me my food gave me the bag with sauce from the sandwhich all over the bag.
However, besides the cleanliness of the store the food was average. Hopefully, we wont get sick but the taste of the food was okay. Furthermore, the tea that was labeled sweet was actually unsweet. The only reason I am giving two stars was because the staff was friendly and listened to all the items I requested on the sandwhiches; but It honestly feels as the associates and the store owner quit and they are going through the motions of the day to day until it shuts down.
Overall, I would not recommend to go to this store until store owner and staff cleans it. There are multiple opportunities that the owner needs to do in order to improve their store and customer experience and prevent people from getting sick from the food.
I will likely not return to this store in the future until this Subway...
Read moreTonight 11/15/18 at 7:15pm I stopped in at our local Boerne Subway only to have THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! The manager on site was so rude and disrespectful to myself and other patrons, she made a spectical of herself. Obviously high on something, with shaking hands and a foul mouth, dragged her cheap lead bracelet through my sandwich and filled it with mayo while making it. So I asked this, so called manager, for another sandwich with less mayo or for someone else to make it...PLEASE, still. The woman then with her index finger, sticks it through the sandwich and wipes half the mayo off. She then sticks her finger full of mayo, into the face of a young lady and asked if it looked like to much mayo to HER! The young girl smiled and said "That is not my sandwich". This is when the Manager threw her gloves off and walked to the back and started YELLING AT THE WALL!! After calming down a bit, the Manager then came out from the back with a grin and that is when I asked for her bosses number. The manager refused to accept my payment for my food and begged me not to call her boss.
I am only sharing this because I was not the only paying CUSTOMER who had to put up with a foul person.
I pray for you Ms Boerne Subway Manager.
