Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Bolingbrook

Sharing my experience at Chili's last night on May 16th met a friend out to have a couple drinks after work just to kind of catch up during this time we had a server named Kathleen and we also had a bartender can't really remember what her name was because I don't think she really wanted to give her her name there was also a manager by the name of Tyler that was there this is going to kind of be a long post my friend and myself are sitting talking catching up and then we noticed that the young lady that was the bartender can't remember what her name is once again broke a glass on top of the ice the manager looked at her and asked I hope you didn't break a glass the bartender reply I did do you know you guys that she kept serving drinks off of that my friend and myself was looking like what the heck are you doing glass breaks for sure some pieces got into that ice where they should have cleaned the ice out do you know this bartender still served a couple of African-American couple a drink and served several drinks my friend and myself noticed later that the manager had went over to the table the manager Tylermy friend and myself kind of contemplating I'm going over and talking to the couple to see what was wrong because we know what we had witnessed however finding out later that the people had an issue and was going to seek medical attention and the reason we found this out is because we wanted to order another drink after sitting there speaking with several different couples for about 4 hours we were turned down drinks that we could not order another drink and the bartender and the manager said no that we couldn't have any more drinks she was very rude as Kathleen lady she was slamming things all around throughout the whole night this is even before the incident eventually I do believe they clean the ice they changed the ice out but this was after the fact that serving several people in the bar area and several people around in the facility the bathrooms are totally disgusting they need to be remodeled you go into use the ladies room and it's disgusting even if it was clean she couldn't tell it was clean because it's so old and outdated and disgusting Taylor as a manager unacceptable this is not the way you spell her name however I think it's t y l e r is how you spell her name she could care less about what was going on she was so into her company that she had sitting at the bar that she was chatting with she tried to be nice and friendly when we talked to her about not getting a drink that we ordered this is just unacceptable Chili's we like Chili's but we won't go to the one in Bolingbrook ever again maybe they should...

I am totally and thoroughly disappointed. I ordered a 3 for $10 and a Smoke House Combo on-line for pick-up. My order confirmation said it would be ready between 6:02 and 6:07. I arrived in the parking lot at 6:00 and followed the link in the text message I received and let them know which spot I was in. I noticed there were quite a few cars in the to-go waiting area, so I expected to wait a few minutes longer than usual. A few runners came out and delivered to some cars that had been there before me. No big deal.

A few minutes after my arrival, someone came to the window and asked for a name for my order.

I watched more and more cars receiving their orders.

I waited another 25 minutes. I started thinking maybe my order got missed so they were remaking it. Someone came over the parking lot speaker and AGAIN asked the name on my order. More cars recieved their orders.

I picked up my phone and started to call inside. An automated service picked up, but within a few seconds a someone came out the door and towards my car, so I hung up.

I finally received my order at 6:37, at least 30 minutes later than expected. I could tell from the condensation on the containers that I should lose any hope of the wait being due to fresh food. I live less than 5 minutes away and when I got home everything was lukewarm and water-logged. Plus, items were missing and incorrect. No cheese on the burger, missing an entire side-item from the smokehouse combo.

I called the store almost immediately, hoping to speak to a manager. I reached the automated service again and was placed on hold. Every 90 seconds or so was a message prompting me to press one if I want to keep holding.

10 minutes later a girl answered, said the manager was too busy to talk. After I explained my issue, she asked me my name and number and assured someone would call me back within the hour.

An hour and 45 minutes later and I still have not received a phone call.

I gave 2 stars only because anytime I've ordered in the past had been pretty good. But this whole experience has been a bummer and not even remotely worth the $35 I spent, so I'd...

Called last night on my way home, I just wanted chips and salsa. I hadn't eaten at chili's in years. But for some reason I was craving their chips and salsa. After a few tries and no one answering, I stopped by and waited at the to go register. This girl showed up (young blonde). She asked me what I wanted and I answered with Chips and salsa. She was typing something, so I just stood there and waited, I thought she was typing in my order. Then she looks up and asks me again what I wanted. I repeated what I had already said a few minutes prior, and I decided to get guacamole too. Every time I wanted to ask her a question about the menu, she would cut me off and start asking me what I wanted to order, or she would tell me to wait. Her attitude towards me was very rude and condescending. As I said earlier, I hadn't been to chili's in years since my kids were little, and now they're in college, so I really don't care for these food chains that warm up the food in microwaves, but for some reason I really wanted their chips, especially that from what I remember, they used to serve them hot. I waited in the car, she came out and I lowered my window. She shoved the food and the drink thru the window all at once. I had never seen someone do that before, the drink almost spilled on me. She was a nasty, rude person. I opened the bag to check my order and the chips were cold. I will never go back to this restaurant. Didn't miss it in 15 years, will not miss...
