I came here hoping to try their Al pastor tacos but they were out of Al pastor. I ended up ordering the pollo en mole dinner instead. I’ve never had mole as flavorless as this… seriously, most mole recipes call for 20+ ingredients - how does yours taste like… nothing? I’m struggling to comprehend this travesty of a mole dish I was just served. This white boy can make a poblano mole recipe from memory that is light years ahead of this… and to serve it as 1 bone in thigh and drumstick? Really? There’s barely even any meat to pick through! Why not serve a poached breast like everyone else? Rice with cilantro sprinkled all over it? Why? Not once in my life have I ever ordered rice at a Mexican restaurant and got unwanted complimentary cilantro. Somebody needs to find some new recipes. I hope their other dishes are better.
Update: 30 minutes later I was running to a toilet with explosive D. 5:30 pm meal and didn’t eat anything else today since breakfast at 6am. I didn’t even eat 1/3 of the meal and still...
Read moreDisappointing experience – left without ordering. We are visiting from out of state and stopped by this place after a long day of work that started at 6 a.m. It was close to our hotel and looked like a good spot for dinner. One person from our group ordered before me, and when I went up to place my order (just two tacos and a burrito), the total came out to $46—which seemed off.
I asked about the price, and instead of an explanation, the staff member began yelling at me, saying it was my fault for not ordering correctly. I don’t speak Spanish, and I was simply trying to understand the bill. Being yelled at like that after a long day felt extremely disrespectful and unnecessary.
In the end, I decided not to order, and the rest of our group left with me. Really unfortunate experience—we were all looking forward to a good meal and left feeling uncomfortable...
Read moreOrdered online I ordered 2 tortas and rice and beans (separately) on the side since they didn't have a torta dinner. And 2 medium drinks. The tortas had hardly any meat and even less toppings. They were honestly the skinniest tortas I've ever had. The rice had no flavor at all. Both drinks were 3/4 full of ice when we asked for no ice, and they were given to my bf in a cupholder inside a tied plastic bag and nothing was said to him when he picked it up so he swung it back and forth all the way to the car without knowing. By this point I didn't even want to try the beans so I made my bf try them. He said they were good only cus they were extra smooth. For $37 I'm beyond disappointed! I could have honestly made the exact dinner at home for that price and my tortas would have been extra fat and my...
