Some of the food was tastier than I would expect, such as Chicken Tender and Fries, Swedish meatballs, and Marzipan, which was pretty delicious with vanilla custard filling with a layer of berry jam coated in light strawberry marzipan. The Chicken fries dish had crisp well-seasoned skin, rendered of excess fat, and yet still moist and tender inside. The Swedish meatball with creamy sauce had a unique flavor which is worth a try. Other dishes like Braised beef, which was quite dried, corn bread, and chocolate cake are just mediocre. However, the price of the meal was very reasonable, ranging from $1 to $8 with the big-enough portion for lunch. The fountain sodas were $1, free refill. All in all, this restaurant is doing its job so good as to keep the customers stay inside IKEA as long as possible.

I always wanted to try the food here and finally had the chance to. This overall experience is this: if you are in the store shopping, go ahead and eat here. Otherwise there are probably better places to eat in the area. The line was short and the people serving you are nice. The food is not bad, but not great. The broccoli cheddar soup is for sure not worth getting. They had no more salads left even though it was 6 pm on a Saturday. But most importantly the portions are really small. This is not the place to fill up on food if you’re starving.

Stopped at IKEA just to kill time and decided to try out their food since I'd never had it. I got the meatball plate which comes with mashed potatoes and peas, a side of fries and an apple dessert. My friend got the tilapia which came with the same sides. We ended up switching plates because I liked hers more, but that is not saying much. For sure the best part was the ligonberry drink which I would probably buy again. For the price it's about what I'd expect, so I'd definitely recommend coming here if you want to waste time on the cheap.

The "Small Breakfast" is $1.00 now and it seems to be half the size of the $0.99 breakfast of the past. I don't know if it was just the guy being trained by someone who was giving the smaller portions or if that's how it is now. They use the scoop so it should be measured the same. Maybe, in the past, the servers heaped it and today (new policy?) it's mostly level. I took two "Small Breakfasts" instead of the $2.00 "Swedish American Breakfast" with the pancakes and jam. I'm glad I did because the two others in my group who did get the $2 meal were not happy with the pancakes and jam. I should have taken a picture because the actual plate doesn't have as much as shown in the picture. The picture looks more like the old...

Degraded service at the IKEA food court, probably our last visit. Kevin seemed disturbed by the sight of customers and did not want to count correctly - asked 16 plant balls, he gave 14, showed it and he took the plate and added 1 more but they charged for 16 balls. He did this for 2nd plate as well, gave only 14 for 16 plant balls, I gave up showing it again coz he was doing it on purpose. Cashier charged full price after a good 25 min wait time in the single cashier line.

And just noticed the receipt, cashier charged for lemon cake which is double the cost of shortcake I bought. Be careful, check your...
