Used to be my man and I's go to spot for date night but the last few times, the food was slacking.
My healthier alternative is the grilled chicken club sandwich. It's what I got on our first date. Yummy and usually they don't get it wrong. 😋😋😋
My favorite used to be the smoked brisket sandwich. It used to be so amazing, I would think about it all week and get excited about getting dressed up on the weekend 💅💄👁 with my baby and getting my favorite brisket whenever we went to BWW.
One time though, the brisket was very fatty and low quality meat. A bummer.
I think a few visits after that, I was excited about the smoked brisket burger 🍔 (my other favorite). We waited over 45 minutes for it to arrive ⏳. The burger was absolutely horrendous. It was dripping in grease. I like me a nice, greasy burger, but not like this. It was drowing and dripping in grease. The brisket, on the other hand, was dry as can be. My man and I had to leave to go elsewhere and I just could not order another one to have to wait another 45 minutes. So, I didn't return it.
When the waitress came by though, she asked how it was, and being that we are regular diners, I casually shared with her and wasn't going to make a big deal about it.
What she was saying threw me for a loop and beyond irritated me. I shared with her that the burger was really greasy this time but that this is something I regularly order. She said disbelievingly, "Hmm... could it be the brisket?" I said, "Ma'am, the brisket is as dry as can be. I said the burger was greasy." Poor thing was wrecking her brain trying to figure it out. My sweet boyfriend stepped in to say that they probably didn't dab off the excess grease. All she could say is that there was someone new in the kitchen. Despite it being now brought to her attention, she didn't do anything about it or offer me something else. She just wrecked her brain trying to think of why I said it was greasy. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ Comical...

I would say my server’s name but, he never introduced himself! He had a ponytail and glasses.
He took our orders for drinks, appetizers, and meals! We received our drinks and appetizers but no meals. We waited and waited. We waited for about two hours. He didn’t check on us and then when he finally came over, he gave us the check only charging us for the drinks and appetizers. We were all confused as to why he did this, as we didn’t get our food. We assumed they were taking our entrees off because we waited so long. After waiting for another 30 mintes for him to come back…we were about to just walk out. He ended up coming back and asking if we were “ready”. We told him we still hadn’t gotten our entrees… He looked shocked and went to the kitchen. He came back and said that his manager was giving us a “Huge” discount. LOL!
We were thinking 50-75% off as we waited and waited with terrible service and no one checking up on us. Nope. We got $20 off. When I tried to ask why we only got $20 off, he got defensive.
I’m very familiar with Karen culture and I usually try to give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to restaurants and service. But this really ticked me off. You don’t introduce yourself, you don’t check up on us, and you forget to put in our order?! Whoever this guy is, terrible server.
Update: A manager or someone went under this telling me to talk to customer support about it. No one has gotten back to me and it has been over a week! Go to Cheddars, not that far away and the service is great! They took a reasonable amount of time with our appetizers and said it came out “late” and they tried to take it off our bill but, we insisted on paying! Spend your money at Cheddars Scratch Kitchen, you won’t be disappointed and the service is so much...
Read moreI have been giving my business to this place for 5 years as a local. I have never had a bad experience in that time until now, gave them a second chance. We usually love coming here because the wing size and portions are decent and you get what you pay for. But the past 2 times we have experienced a huge difference in the quality of there wings. The size of wings is pretty laughable. I have a small hand and the wings are literally smaller than my finger, whereas before the wing size was huge, and meaty. I literally had fried skin and bones, and barely any meat, they almost look way overcooked or thats just the way there wings are now. The price and wing ratio isn’t matching up anymore, they should have literally been $10 wings (20 ordered) and when pointed out to management they said wings vary in size, like I said I been coming here long enough to know the wing size in comparison to all my visits here. Talk to 3 different people there and even though apologetic, no one even offered to see how they can make it right (customer service has left the building). I gladly paid my bill ( not trying to get free food, but definitely felt cheated out on my wing size for what was paid). We still love the drinks and appetizers there, but the wings are not it anymore here. Anyone know of a good place in Bolingbrook or the vicinity for good ol’...
