I eat at this Panda Express every time I am out in Bolingbrook. Over the past few years I have noticed a steady decline in the quality of the food, but today was the worst experience I have ever had there. My fiance and I arrived at 11:20 am and the crew was hastily bringing out entrees from the refrigerated area in the back. They had very few items that were ready to be served and the ones they had looked old. They didn't have any super greens ready or teriyaki sauce and sweet and sour sauce. I made my selections from what they had and told them that I would wait for super greens. I selected the black pepper chicken and the orange chicken, my fiance selected black pepper chicken and the mushroom chicken. There was only one other customer in the store at that time. We took our items and sat down to eat I immediately noticed that the orange chicken was hard as a stone, and when I tasted it I realized that it was obviously made the day before or longer. The black pepper chicken was limp and rubbery and the vegetables were soft even the celery had no crunch to it. I could see that there was not much black pepper on it yet the taste of black pepper over powered the taste of the chicken and the vegetables. My father was in the restaurant business for over 50 years, and when you taste pepper over the other ingredients it usually means that you added the pepper too soon when you were cooking it or it sat for too long on the heat with pepper on it. In this case it obviously sat for too long, since the vegetables were limp. My fiance got brown rice with hers and again they had to go back to the refrigerator to get some, and it was not only cold when I tasted it but it tasted like it was weeks old. We both threw our meals in the garbage and left as did an Asian man who came in after us to eat. We spent $26.00 for inedible food. My fiance was going to complain but the crew was busy trying to clean the menu signs directly over food that the cook was placing on the counter. She observed liquid from the dirty rags they were using dripping into the bowls of food on the counter that he had just cooked. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PANDA EXPRESS AGAIN !!! It was the most poorly run Panda that I have ever been to and it is not just the day crew the night shift should dump any old food at the end of the night and not refrigerate it or use the next day. Every item they sell has a maximum hold time which they obviously never adhere to as evident by the old rotten food...
Read moreTerrible manager went on 11.03.2024, and they tried to sell me 2 egg rolls that were burnt. When I saw it in the bag and questioned it the manager instead of fixing it, she told me it's the fryer's fault, not hers, but she can't control it. I then processed to get 2 new ones to replace the burn one and sat down. My daughter liked the egg rolls, so she went to buy another one. The same person manager decided to tell my daughter to go ahead and pick the egg rolls because she didn't want another complaint. I mean, I paid for it it wasn't free, so food shouldn't be burnt. Then, the plates I ordered the food, and she's immediately covered it up after I moved around to look at the entree, and I asked her to open up the box. She literally tried to not fill my box and only gave me I can tell maybe a scoop or scoop and a half of the noodles and when I told her to please give me alittle more she had an attitude. The plate then suppose to have 3 sides the last side wasn't ready and I wasn't looking, for 4 dollars more she only gave me 4 pieces of walnut shrimp in a mini box while others got more then 4 pieces and I paid for it. Terrible manager, food wasn't even fully hot beside the walnut shrimp. The manager needs to get retrain how to speak with their customer and how to handle situations better. Makes the restaurant look bad.... for the price they charge should be decent amount and good quality because NO customers want to pay something that they can't eat...
Read morePanda Express is where fast food meets comfort food in the most delicious way possible. It’s like a culinary passport to bold, satisfying flavors that somehow feel both familiar and exciting every time I visit.
The Orange Chicken is iconic for a reason—crispy, tangy, and sweet, it’s a little piece of heaven in every bite. Pair it with the Chow Mein, and you’ve got a combo that never disappoints. But what keeps me coming back is the creativity of their rotating menu items. Honey Sesame Chicken, Beijing Beef, or even their Super Greens—there’s always something to surprise your taste buds.
What I love most is the consistency. No matter where you are, Panda Express hits the mark with fresh ingredients and portions that leave you full but never sluggish. And let’s not forget the fortune cookies—sure, it’s a small touch, but it always adds a little charm to the meal.
Panda Express is my go-to when I want bold flavors, fast service, and the perfect balance of indulgence and comfort. It’s not just fast food; it’s fast comfort food with flair....
