Yes, I was just in your restaurant and experienced something I never experienced before in my entire 43 yrs of life. I really don't know how to feel to be honest but I do know it kinda broke my heart. This is my first time ever complaining of service and I have been to some terrible places but something you can't let go without being heard. I occasionally eat at McCallisters sometimes even door dashing food and its usually good and times have gone in any other your restraunts customer service has been great but today makes me not even want to come back. I'm a black female who's name happens to be Robbie Stephens have to agree not typical female name nor black persons name but dats my name and I love it! I decided to go to McCallisters today I haven't had it in a long time and wanted a good sandwhich and McCallisters never has disappointed and I was in the area so why not! So, go in first thing this young female with blonde hair took my order, she was so dry. no Hi no nothing just can I take your order not even a smile basically like I wasn't even there. I even spoke to her with a smile Ok this is not why I wrote this but that set the mood the things was the female with the brown hair and glasses was bagging orders and passing them out. When my order came up she called my name. Not to remind you I'm standing right in front of the register. She looks me in my face and just dismisses me I actually waved my hands and said it's me she just looked me over and called the name Robbie again and placed it back on the counter. While my order was preparing I had picked out a macadamia nut cookie and got back in line that's why I was still in front of the counter. After female with glasses placed my order back another female employee with glasses and curly hair with ponytail was getting ready to take my order. When I got to register I explained the situation to her and pointed out that I was Robbie she also had the look of confusion and hesitation on her face! Like I wasn't me. Look I understand my name is a typicalwhite males name especially growing up in early 80's even now ppl looking for that or at least to be a male but No its me so I've gotten the looks of confusion but for me to be just down rite judged the ignored I couldn't let Go, had to just inform you that customer service was just terrible! You need to train staff on stuff like that cause im not a confrontational person and it could have went way different.Thank you for your time! Robbie Stephens concern customer. Bonaire...
Read moreWorst customer experience Iâve ever encountered. My order was wrong, took thirty minutes of me being pushed to the side and walked past for them to finally help me. Then when they took my sandwich back they didnât change anything and brought it back the exact same. I ordered a Turkey sandwich with no bacon. It had bacon, and mayonnaise which was not even listed on the sandwich in the first place. It was missing all of the vegetables and cheese plus it was cold. Also the plates were very clearly not washed and had old food crusted on them with our food thrown on top. I sent it back again and all they did was try to unsuccessfully scrape off the mayonnaise and bring it right back out. Long story short the staff is very rude, unhelpful, and we paid for food we didnât even eat. Then when we answered the survey they gave us and explained the situation we never heard any type of response.
EDIT : I chalked it up to them being new and waited a while to come back to see if they improved and they didnât. Friday was our first time back in months and this was our experience. Ordered for take out, after half an hour I asked if maybe my food was sitting on the counter and got overlooked since I was seeing multiple people order after me, get their food, and leave. They then told me they were remaking it, thatâs alright but it wouldâve been nice to know. I got home and my food was still wrong. No cheese, no bacon, no olives, added mayonnaise, and was ice cold. What I ordered was not what I got even after they supposedly remade it. Also the Italian sandwich we ordered had mayo and onions even thought we asked for no onions. It was...
Read moreFirst time visit. There are plastic laminated menus on a stand when you first enter the restaurant. There are also lit menu boards over the cash register area. There are three cash registers here. The first thing I noticed was a very sick somewhat elderly woman customer hacking up a lung at the cash register 1. Like a very sick deep lung nasty cough that kept continuing . She was touching everything in sight, contaminating everything. When it was my turn to order I asked if we could use a different cash register because of the excessive hacking prior... (pointing to number 3). The young girl operating the cash register was confused why I would not want to conduct business in a countertop freshly spewed on and no one wiped it down with any disinfectant. The next thing I noticed was how quiet and blank faced all the employees looked. I'm not sure the reason for this but oftentimes in the past, this sometimes happens when management doesn't create a fun workplace. Either that, everyone working was up late last night and didn't get any sleep. Either way, it was strikingly odd how it was as quiet as a morgue in the open kitchen. The sandwich and soup was really good. I enjoyed the meal. I could have probably been good with half a sandwich and the soup for the carb load but I just removed half the bread. I got water to drink which wasn't too bad. Most other places it tastes like pool water but it was not like that here. Over all it was a great experience. I would just recommend the staff be more attentive to properly cleaning surfaces. Their health inspection report hanging on the...
