El Gran Taco Loco — Restaurant in Bonita Springs

I have visited on and off this place because they can never be consistent about anything. Today was the last time and I am writing a review because maybe the owner doesn’t know what goes on there They charge you cash only and add tax to it but do not ask for a receipt, they tell you what you can or cannot have that day depending on the mood of the cashier person which doesn’t speak proper Spanish or any English , they also change the prices from one day to the next without notice and that is exactly what happened to me today. I know the prices are “cheap” but taking money from you in that manner is just wrong no matter how much it is. I was there Thursday evening and paid 50 Cents more for each taco of pastor I order that day even though I was looking to the board and the posted prices indicate $2 per taco. Today I order a torta and I was asked to pay $2 dollars more than what is mark on the board, when I told the girl that Thursday I paid a different price she said “ well that’s not the price anymore” I said Thursday I paid $10 even though the board say $9 and now is more money? She said “yes”. My choice was to walk away and never go back. The food is kind of questionable anyway and I found a better place...

Racist and nasty service multiple times. Will lie to you about having ingredients, you can watch the next customer walk away with everything you asked for. Also have been up charged when the prices are clearly posted. Used to drive 30 min to come here and refer this place, now I’m so upset I won’t stop leaving negative reviews until everyone knows the truth. Tried to counter with kindness but did not seem to help.

Multiple employees are clearly prejudice against anyone that is not of their ethnicity. I understand Spanish and my wife is Puerto Rican. Asked for ingredients on multiple occasions, was told they don’t have and given a dirty look. Watched the next customers walk away with EXACTLY what I requested. I’ve always tipped and combat with kindness but doesn’t seem to matter. Also clearly illegal immigrants if it’s gonna be like that! This is America, if you can’t be a team...

From ., someone who has traveled the east coast to the West Coast California 100s of times for business and have eaten at Taco stands to restaurants all along the way and in the middle to in between, I can testify this place has one of the best steak street tacos on soft white corn tortilla stuck with steak cilantro and onion that is out of this world add whatever hot sauces you want to it or cheese if you please it is hands down the best street Taco Taco overall I've had after having over 10 trips to Mexico on jobs and eating street tacos there this place is the only contender that I know of and I'm glad it is at least close enough to home an hour and a half away that I can get a good taco I highly recommend getting a street taco and a white corn soft shell...
