We ordered two medium pizzas on a Tuesday at 12:15. They told us it would be 40 to 45 minutes to receive. That was reasonable being it was lunch time. We waited an hour and a half before calling. When we called they told us it should be there at any time. We waited another 35 minutes.....still no pizza. I called the store back and ask to speak to the manager. He told me it should be there at any time. I told him that is what we were told 30 minutes ago. He said "Well I don't know what to tell you". I said really....that is all you have to say? He said "I don't know what you want me to say. I can't help the traffic". I told him that I understood an hour even with traffic but it has now been two hours and still no pizza and when we do receive our pizza it will be cold. I ask him if that was the only excuse he could come up with was traffic two hours later (our location is less than 10 minutes away). I said what kind of manager are you that is not a little more concerned about a complaint like this...not to offer some sort of discount or apology or anything. He said well do you want to cancel the order I can call the driver. I said really???? He then said that he could call the driver back, make a new one and send him back out. I told him that would be at least another 45 minutes. He went on so I ended up hanging up on him. When the pizza guy arrived, at least 10 minutes after I got off of the phone, I told him he could leave it but we were not paying for it. I also told him he could tell his boss that I said he was an a* and that I would be calling his district manager. He took the pizza with him. I understand that he could not leave it and he was only the driver so I didn't give him any abuse. He told me he was the only driver they had. I'm now trying to get a hold of his district manager to put in a formal complaint. What a poor excuse...
Read moreThe food part is good. It's the delivery service (Door-Dash) that they are now using that SUCKS Big time. The majority of the Door-Dash drivers don't even speak English. I mean what country are we living in? I have no problem with immigrants that come to this country to make a better life for themselves. However they need to first learn to speak English. Why should I have struggle to communicate to these drivers on how to find my address, which is a very visible condo building. There are only two 3-story buildings in this neighborhood and I originally included my unit number but he went to the wrong building. When I called him to give more detailed instructions I wasn't able to communicate with him at all. This is SO WRONG! If Pizza Hut is now using Door-Dash to deliver their Pizzas then they are ultimately responsible for this problem and they need to fix it. Otherwise customers like myself will just start ordering from Domino's, where they're still using their own employees for deliveries.

On top of that I used a $25 gift card that I was given. Delivery driver came and was trying to charge me full price, which was $41. I called the store here located in Bonita Springs FL. They would not honor my $25 gift card and on top of that wanted to charge me full price for everything. When it said that the pizzas were $8.99. When I called the store, the manager claimed that it wasn’t her problem and that the discounts don’t get added on automatically. I’ve been ordering from this location for years, online, over the phone etc. I’ve never had an issue, until today. They basically kept my $25 gift card and my order. The on shift manager was very rude and wouldn’t do anything to fix my issue. Sorry, I was not going to pay $41 for an order that was supposed to be $30 plus my gift card so it really should have been $5.
