I wish I could give this place 0 stars . I have never come to encounter anything like the experience that I had with this establishment ! I work for a food delivery service and was working a very well paying job that required me to pick up their order from this Taco Bell. I’m just going to say real quick that very well paying jobs on these delivery apps have been on the decline as of lately and have been occurring less and less for me when I could use them the most with how much I’m having to fork out paying for the gas to make all of these deliveries . So when I’m lucky enough to snag a job like this Taco Bell one that I had on this specific occasion I try my best to come through for these customers as best and as timely as possible . So I made sure to arrive there as quickly as possible (and being from Puyallup I drove quite a bit out of my way) just to be met with a very busy store on this occasion . Time was just before 10pm (friday night) . I was hoping to just be able to grab this order and go but Upon arriving I was informed by employees working there that this specific order had already been picked up obviously by error. I contacted the customer who confirmed this by informing me that no order had been received and that I was the driver that they could see on their end that was assigned and expected to be delivering their order . So I follow the proper procedure in letting both Taco Bell and the company that I work for know that this customers order had been picked up by some previous person by mistake and that it would be required that the order be remade to which I was willing to patiently wait knowing how busy the store was . The company I drive for also called Taco Bell and let them know the order needed to be remade and that they would pick up the expenses for this extra order . I’m going to assume that it was a manager on duty that I next encountered as she was the one that i observed answering their phone when the company I work for called the store to inform them of all of this … she came over to me to let me know that she was refusing this and would not be remaking this order for my customer who had already paid for everything and had clearly just had his order stolen … I was so completely taken back by how she had decided to handle this situation . I didn’t even know that this was an option that this employee could take which would therefore leave this PAYING customer without their order completely and me without the order to deliver to which I was hoping and expecting to be compensated for . After displaying my empathy for the fact that I understood that busy times can be overwhelming and I felt for her situation and I was willing to wait however long it took for them to get through their current orders first (this customer’s order that I was trying to deliver was nothing extravagant at all… it wasn’t even a big order .. just your everyday couple tacos , burrito and side of nachos type of order) and then I tried to break my situation down to her explaining that had just driven from Puyallup to do this order and without it I was unable to deliver which meant I was losing out on a very high paying order for me. She showed no concern for my situation at all and continued to refuse to remake this order until I would eventually leave having to accept this loss and leaving an extremely unhappy, unsatisfied customer without his food that they paid for . I’m still completely baffled at this situation. Like how would this be any different than if the customer would have just re ordered their meal again ? I feel like the way this employee handled this situation was totally uncalled for and beyond unprofessional and I would hope would not fall in line with how Taco Bell as a whole wishes to conduct...
Read moreIt's no coincidence that you're seeing so many reviews for slow service...it's terribly slow. The only reason I keep going to this Taco Bell is I'd rather wait in the drive thru for 15 minutes and be closer to home as opposed to driving 20 extra minutes to the next nearest Taco Bell. On the plus side, they're always very friendly and the food is up to normal Taco Bell standards (whether that's a good or bad thing is subjective). Tonight, it took me 16 minutes to get one Quesarito Box with three cars ahead of me in the drive thru. That's pretty typical for this Taco Bell...and don't expect it to change as it's been this way for the last 8 months that I've lived here. I ordered full authentic Mexican meals for my family from Fiesta Taqueria (stellar stuff, btw) and it was ready to pick up 1 minute faster than my Taco Bell drive thru box.
Either way, it's still addictive ol' Taco Bell food and tastes like you'd expect it...and I still can't stop eating it despite the terrible wait time. It's sad that they are so bad at fast food, really wish management would get a hold on things.
Update 1/9/18: Service seemed to quicken up for a short period of time after their "update". However, they seem to have gone back to their slow ways. I must say, I have no issues with the employees themselves as they are always friendly, but I just can't keep giving business to a fast food place that is this slow. On my last visit, I sat in the drive-thru line for 7 minutes and didn't move forward one car space. I backed out and went to the Puyallup Taco Bell where I ordered and reveived my food 3 minutes after pulling in with two cars ahead of me. I will be driving the extra few miles to Puyallup...
Read moreFor the sake of your own sanity, avoid this Taco Bell. Order is typically wrong and it'll take you 20 minutes on average to get through the drive thru. They are inevitably always out of an item that you'll want...and the item they're out of will rotate depending on your mood. If you wanted nacho fries; oops, out of nacho fries (which should be a permanent item anyway, TACO BELL). If you were craving Baja Blast; sorry, all out. If you wanted Cinnamon Twists; too bad, all gone. It's eerie how it works.
Heaven forbid they mess up your order and you have go inside. They regularly lock the lobby doors well before closing time if they get busy. You can try to plead with the patrons inside to let you in, but they're usually too busy looking at the clock and glaring at the kitchen wondering why their order of 2 tacos and a soda is taking 30 minutes to make.
Now, I know this review sounds pretty bad...but that's because this Taco Bell IS this bad. It's 100% the management/ownership of the restaurant. The kids working here are very nice 90% of the time, but something is terribly wrong with how this place is run. It's been this way for a long time. I have no clue why I keep going back to this Taco Bell occasionally, because despite all my hopes and dreams that it will get better, it never does.
On the bright side, once you finally get your food, it does taste pretty decent (even though you'll be missing some of the items you actually ordered).
Sorry Bonney Lake Taco Bell, but you are terrible. One day, I hope you will come out of this slump you're in...but I'm doubtful...
