As a longtime fan of Boonton Staion this place really has taken a dive with the “new” manager. You cannot get a worse Saturday night manager. She spilled the pitas off the plate onto our table, then proceeded to pick them up with her BARE HANDS and puts them back on the plate and walks away like nothing happened. The lovely waitress Dana was nice enough to get us fresh ones. The Romaine salad came out with ice berg lettuce (as if we wouldn’t notice) The chicken was like eating cold, burnt, shards of glass (see photo). The table behind us sent their chicken back to the kitchen. Keep in mind this place is not cheap to eat. The waitresses are all fun and friendly, the manager is not..and looks like she rolled out of bed in a wrinkly flannel shirt. The atmosphere is outstanding but the kitchen “new” manager need and overhaul immediately.

This was my first time here as my date and I wanted to hit up a restaurant with a railroad theme. Please don't ask why. They have very good measures in place to stop the spread of Coronavirus including mandatory reservations and calling upon arrival so that a host will come out and get you. The outdoor seating area is really nice right along the train tracks and from what I could see indoors the decor is awesome. Service was excellent with our waitress even bringing us a few extra things that other customers seem to enjoy with our platters indicating that we might like it as well. Which we did! Prices were reasonable and although the food wasn't worthy of perhaps immediately calling all of my friends and telling them about it, it was very good. We will definitely return!

Good experience! The atmosphere and the services are great. Our server/bartender Matt was fantastic. The drinks were decent. We tried the Manhattan Up and the seasonal Old Fashioned. The appetizer started out strong. We had the bruchetta and very much enjoyed the mix of flavors. The Ceasar salad was also very good. The entres were okay, in my opinion a bit over priced for the quality, nothing special. Would definitely go again for drinks, especially in the summer! Overall, I give Boonton Station a 3.3 out of 5.

Extremely disappointed and will NEVER return. From the minute our party of six sat down, everything was a disaster. This place is the origin of the phrase: "The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing." We had multiple servers trying to take our orders, each not knowing that a previous server had visited our table. We all ordered French Onion soup and after more than one hour of waiting we were delivered New England clam chowder. We had to wait another 20 minutes to get the proper soup! Everyone got the wrong drink order. I ordered a Reisling wine and received Chardonnay instead. Even after the server showed me a new bottle of Reisling and poured me a new drink from the kitchen, I can assure you it was not Reisling! This is bait and switch clearly at its worst! No bread was offered even after waiting more than one hour for appetizers. Let me now skip to the delivery of our checks which were all screwed up. I was charged for 2 additional glasses of wine that I never ordered! Barely an apology when brought to the attention of the server. In conclusion, if you do not mind waiting 3 hours for dinner and being served the incorrect drink and soup and receiving an erroneous overcharged check, then this place is...

The concept is very cool and unique. The atmosphere was great and there is live music. Unfortunately my experience was ruined by terrible service. Some in our party did not get their salads with their entrees, and when we asked the server brought over one more and disappeared even though more than one person was missing it. Same thing happened when the entrees came out, several people did not get their sides. The server was then gone for close to 45 minutes. When she came back we asked about the missing sides and she snapped saying she’ll take off whatever we want and just walked away as if we were giving her a hard time when all we did was ask about the food we ordered. Another thirty minutes go by with our table being unattended. We finally had to get up and ask someone about our bill so we could leave and of course nothing was adjusted for the missing items but at that point we did not care.

Food was generally good, most people in my party enjoyed their meals. My wife’s ahi tuna was fantastic. Only caveat was the surf and turf, they poured a sweet creamy sauce all over the steak and shrimps. This was not mentioned in the menu and I did not want it all...

Went here the other night for the first time and had been wanting to try this place for a while now. My boyfriend and I waited 25 minutes for someone to even greet us after being seated. I even went up to the hostess to tell him no one had come up to the table and the young boy told me we just sat a bunch of people. The table behind us ended up leaving as they got tired of waiting. Lobster Mac and cheese we ordered had probably 3 pieces of small lobster max. My Moscow mule was good, ordered a second one and realized there was no lime juice in it as it tasted different from the first. When I asked for a lime she then told me they were out of limes. My filet mignon was the worst filet I’ve ever had. Did not taste like a filet mignon and had to have been the wrong kind of cut. I asked for it medium rare and the inside was completely rare. Overall food was not the best and the service was horrendous. It really seemed like the entire restaurant was being run by a bunch of young kids. Way too overpriced for the quality. Not...
