We stop here whenever we’re in the area. Breakfast sandwiches are big and delicious, they season them so even the vegetarian ones are wicked good. Pictured is the egg and cheese on a cwassont. Apple fritter is equally as good and as big as your head. Good ratios between apple, frosting, and dough and doesn’t taste of fry oil like some other places. Vietnamese coffee was halfway gone by the time I went to take a picture. The back deck is a great place to hang out and eat. It can get busy so build in some extra time if you’re trying to catch a boat. Breakfast is served all day. Haven’t tried the lunch or dinner menu yet as we’re always there in the morning. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this place. Every item on the menu is a 10/10. The Vietnamese coffee, and Thai tea are amazing. We didn't get to try the black coffee but I'm sure it's also very good. The doughnuts are some of the best I've ever had. They're very moist, and sweet but not overly sweet. All the breakfast sandwiches are delicious as well. The dinner menu is also great and you need to check it out. You need to try this place out, especially for the very inexpensive price point no where else even competes.

While standing in line, we heard a bunch of people order sausage croissants, so we got one too. It's huge, flaky and delicious. We also got the #24, vermicelli soup with shrimp. The broth was awesome. The shrimp, perfectly cooked. I ate everything. A handful of fresh cilantro would have sent it into the stratosphere. This place is like a bakery + breakfast + vietnamese shop. Very low key and unassuming, but busy with locals. Service was great. Eat in the garden! Look at the harbor.

This is, in its own way, the best restaurant in Boothbay Harbor, also Maine, also New England -- whatever Vietnamese/Southeast Asian food you want, will be prepared, day or night, and be good. The full selection of a bakery, from the immense apple fritters to the croissants, are served alongside; the giant rack of coffee signals its presence in town, open year round, as the locals' breakfast stop. And the huge, thick slices of bread for toast and sandwiches, as well as the massive array of breakfast sandwiches and omelettes and ready customization, have consistently made Baker's Way our stop for food on every single trip to the Boothbay Harbor region... Period. Since discovering it in 2012, I have never failed to eat at it at least once (but usually 2 - 5 times) when staying in the area, and have never failed to be delighted. It's especially impressive when it's clear one entire family runs the entire place, this almost superhuman group of Vietnamese women working incredibly long hours to keep the place running. Cannot recommend high enough, in short; it...

Fantastic food, friendly service and great prices. We have loved this little bakery for years, enjoying their coffee rolls and apple fritters. They're hot, fresh, delicious and huge! And the prices are crazy cheap. This past summer we tried lunches and ordered pad thai, spring rolls and chicken satay. Having tried everywhere in CT for decent pad thai, I was thrilled by theirs. Even my pickiest eater tried and loved the food. The spring rolls were huge, had the freshest ingredients and delicious dipping sauce. For those who complained about the service, I think you must be talking about a different bakery! The daughter of this mother/daughter team is super friendly. She gave us free samples of her bakery products and was so kind and helpful. Our only disappointment is we only get to go...

I just want to start off with how amazing and authentic the Pho is. That being said, this place is a diamond in the rough. It’s as if only the locals know it’s here. This family works hard and puts out some amazing stuff. The fritters are unreal, the baked breads, pastries all made by hand with so much love and passion. They aren’t appreciated enough in their community so I implore everyone that stops in boothbay harbor for their annual vacation to come here for breakfast and a bowl of Pho at lunch. I want to add that my family has had a home on Southport island for 40 years. I’m 32 and I’ve seen it all, eaten everywhere and tried everything it has to offer. It may be a whole in the wall to some, however, I garuntee you won’t regret...
