Huang's Garden — Restaurant in Bordentown

I happened to find this place looking for something to eat after leaving the Bordentown Library about a month ago. Since then I've ordered several times and have been very happy with everything I've ordered. I prefer spicy dishes and they make their Sichuan and Hunan entrees with the proper amount of spice and they have meat, not just onions, in their meat dishes. My wife who prefers non-spicy dishes also finds their other dishes flavorful and consistently good. Since we moved to this area about 6 years ago we have been trying to find a good Chinese eat-in/take out and been driving a half hour north to the Windsor area because nothing else in this area is satisfactory. In addition to their food being better, their prices are at least 30% cheaper than the others. Their menu is quite extensive with many items for special diets. My only complaint is that they should clean up the area outside their back door to make it more presentable or use their front for access. I guess at one time they were an eat-in restaurant but have since closed the dining area and their front door. You have to order by phone and they call you when your order is ready to be picked up at the kitchen door. The collection of garbage cans that every restaurant has outside the kitchen door can be a turn-off. I have found everyone that I dealt with at Huang's Garden, from whoever answers the phone to the person that brings out my order, to be pleasant and professional. Not only do they deliver to the petro truck stop but they are incredibly delicious!!!!! We haven't had Chinese food in several months because we have had some very poor experiences. Because they do not have a menu on this website we decided to go out on a limb and try this suggestion Singapore style chow fun, it was fabulous! Beef, chicken, shrimp, pork, veggies on top of rice noodles; we got it extra spicy and it was perfect! Their portions are nice and big and their prices are incredibly cheap! For our entire meal of the Singapore style chow fun, shrimp fried rice, crab rangoons, hot and sour soup, wonton soup and tons of extra sauces that they did not charge for was all under $22!!! :) there is so much food left over we will be eating it for the next couple of days. We highly recommend this place whether you are a truck driver, local or just passing through and want some good food, you must try this place! Best Chinese food we've ever...

We ordered Pork Lo-Mein. Beef & Scallops, Sesame Beef, 2 eggs rolls and an egg drop soup. Everything was really good! We got delivery because we are truck driver's and were at the Petro travel center...it took a while to get our order and I'm assuming due to them being the most popular place to order from and that it was a Sat night...it was definitely worth the wait. Driver texted me letting me know he was pulling up for me to meet him inside the store. He was quick and very friendly thanked me for ordering with them. I saved the Pork Lo-Mein for the next day and even with a reheat in our microwave it was still really good. The portions on everything I ordered was over flowing. You definitely get your money's worth. We will certainly order from them again when we are back...
