Ah, Starbucks on Airline Dr. – the pinnacle of premium, overpriced coffee experiences. Nestled among the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this Starbucks stands out as a beacon of caffeinated indulgence.
As you step inside, you're greeted by the unmistakable aroma of freshly ground beans and the soothing hum of espresso machines working overtime. The ambiance? Think sleek, modern, and just a tad pretentious – the perfect setting to sip on a beverage that costs more than your lunch.
Now, let's talk about the menu. From the Venti, Triple, Half-Sweet, Non-Fat, Caramel Macchiato to the Grande, Skinny, Extra Shot, No-Whip, Vanilla Latte – the options are endless and so are the price tags. But fear not, because each sip promises to transport you to a realm where basic beverages are elevated to artisanal status.
The staff here are friendly enough, albeit with a touch of barista elitism. They'll take your order with a smile while secretly judging your taste in coffee customization. And don't forget the names they come up with for your cup – it's like a game of coffee roulette every time you pick up your order.
Of course, the clientele adds to the ambiance. You'll find a mix of caffeine connoisseurs, laptop warriors, and Instagram influencers all vying for the perfect shot of their meticulously crafted beverages.
In conclusion, Starbucks on Airline Dr. is the go-to spot for those who appreciate a good cup of coffee and don't mind paying a premium for the experience. So, if you're feeling fancy and your wallet is feeling generous, treat yourself to a taste of coffee luxury at this iconic establishment. Just be prepared to part ways with a few extra dollars for that Grande, Double, Upside-Down, Cinnamon Dolce...
Read moreAnother Starbucks that wastes a plastic cup to measure out an iced coffee to then pour it into your personal mug that you brought in to prevent wasting a plastic cup in the first place. What's worse is I always ask that the drinks be made in my mug because some Starbucks do use that excuse, but then she doesn't do it anyways. Then, when I tell her to trust me in that the iced coffee will fit in my mug, which also has measurements in milliliters and ounces, she pours it in and finds that it does indeed fit... she told me they need to use the cup's lines to measure the drink even when using their in-house-use mugs... WTF? I've been to Starbucks establishments all over the US... GET ON THE SAME PAGE. And, Starbucks, get your places a metal measuring cup if you're going to teach that method. HOW DIFFICULT IS THAT? You make one ONCE, and, as long as the employees don't lose it, it can be used indefinitely. Since I know you don't really care about the environment or creating waste, at least think of it financially... don't you think that one metal measuring cup would save you more money in the long run vs. wasting plastic cups for every drink that needs to be measured out for personal mugs, especially when you're giving the customer 10 cents and then STILL USING THE PLASTIC CUP?!... Heinous.
FURTHERMORE, why are the two SINGLE TOILET, LOCKING RESTROOMS gendered?! There's one toilet in them both. They both lock. If there are 40 men who all need to use the restroom and no women, or vice-versa, because of the rules, obviously those 40 men have to wait for each other to finish, when it could effectively take...
