Edit (7/2025) Sigh, can no longer recommend this place. I used to love this place and would visit whenever I’m in town, but the quality of the food has really gone down. The baguettes are stale and not crispy, the pickled veggies were pickled for way too long and too sour, and cucumbers were also way too limp.
Seems minor but I do think at a banh mi place, the banh mi should be fresh and crunchy. Pretty disappointing ):
— Last review: Honestly, best banh mi in Boston. Yes, better than ba Le. They don’t skimp on the meat, baguette is flakey crispy but doesn’t cut the roof of your mouth. We’re based in DC near Eden and these are better than anyy banh mi here too. Always look forward to visiting Boston to grabbing a Bánh mì here.
I always get the cold cut sandwich with extra butter.
They’re expanding their desserts menu and their corn che is really good too.
Also service is A1. Highly...

The bánh mì unfortunately did not meet expectations. The bread was overly crunchy, and the portion of meat was noticeably smaller than what comparable restaurants provide, despite being a dollar more expensive. Across the three sandwiches ordered, the meat-to-vegetable ratio felt unbalanced as well.
Both beverages were extremely sweet, which overwhelmed their intended flavors.
I appreciate the effort and the hustle behind this business. My review is offered constructively and in hopes that these adjustments might help the restaurant stand out among strong local...

Tried four varieties: chicken, beef, roast pork, pork belly. For me the chicken had the best flavor and roast pork the best texture (crunchy).
Also tried: spring rolls — absolutely delicious, some of the best I’ve had anywhere; a sesame ball filled with coconut paste, that was also really tasty; and iced coffee with milk, a huge portion of strong and very sweet coffee. Maybe a touch too sweet there, but good.
The place is small but has a couple of tables if you want to eat there. The person who helped us was super friendly.
All in all,...
