Went there to pre-game(3 hours before game time), the hostess and staff were really friendly to us! When we came in they asked if we intended to eat and drink, we did, and they sat us in the best seats facing the field! Ordered the sliders and my husband ordered this double patty burger which was pretty big. Food came out in a timely manner, when we were halfway done with one beer, we were chilling though and not in a rush. I did notice that the seats immediately in the mini dugout facing the field could be reserved for gametime so *shrug*. If you're seated in the area of the window outlooking the field on the high chairs against the railing, people may bump into you, or nudge your seat because it's something cool or new to them. Lots of tourists and it's very VERY loud and crowded. It's a bar, connected to a baseball stadium, just remember that people are excited just to be there. If you can't handle, don't go? We had a great time.

This is a great place. If all you want to do is come see the stadium and grab a drink this is the place to do it. It is located inside the bleachers of the stadium and has a garage sized doorway that looks out into center field. Three tables are set up right in front of the doorway so you can get a very good view of the field. If you are watching the game and need to hit the bathroom, no need to worry about missing any of the action, they put a window in just above the urinals for the men, so while going to the bathroom, you can still watch the action. If you go for a game, be warned that they only allow you to stay for one hour, you Must purchase drinks and if seated in the three tables near the door, you must buy food and beverage. Well worth stopping by for a look and a drink.

This is coming from a baseball fan, and not a Red Sox fan - what a great setup! Family went to see the Bosox while vacationing and thought we’d go to a different sports bar before the game, but we stumbled across Bleacher Bar. We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere and revelry on Landsdowne St. before the game. People everywhere, guys hawking sausages, friends hanging out - just a lot of fun. The beer was cold and the food was exactly what a sports bar should be - apps, burgers, nachos, etc. Lots of options on the menu and surprisingly fast service with so many tables going. Really cool view into the stadium from inside the restaurant. Made for an early evening of fun before the game!!

Cool view of the stadium but horrible service. Not worth it. It was such an unpleasant visit that we are still talking about it as some of the worst service we've ever experienced. We had a group of 8 (lots of potential business for them, including older people who have health issues prohibitive to standing for long periods). There were no tables that would have fit our group in the entire establishment and the bar was packed by young, rowdy people. The restaurant area (mostly tables for four or less) was half empty). We had just eaten lunch as it was about 3 pm. We were IDed on the way in and assumed it was a cool bar so we ordered drinks. After we received our drinks and were sitting at tables the waitress informed us that unless we were planning on ordering food, we should leave the table. This was very awkward and inappropriate as we had not been informed in any way before that we would have to order food. Her attitude was off-putting. We didn't have the option of going to the crowded bar and standing on the concrete floor would have been very painful to the disabled in our group, so we ordered fried pickles. We then sat (at 2 different tables because, again, they had no single tables large enough for our party. The waitress then proceeded to kick the party with the disabled woman off the table and make them stand because she said we couldn't occupy two tables and have just one appetizer ordered even if it was on the same bill!! She made no effort to apologize about the obviously upsetting situation either! Disgusted and not really wanting to give any more money to such a dickish establishment we paid as quickly as we could, gave the uneaten pickles away to another table and left. Horrible horrible service and policies. Money-grubbing...

I've been here a couple of times now, once when it was pretty crowded and once very empty (the former being right before a big baseball game). I'm not into sports so I've never stayed for a game, but they have a good view right into the field for those interested. Staff has always seemed nice. If it's too crowded for a seat they'll still probably let you inside to stand and order drinks from the bar, which is a good option. A decent drink selection in terms of beers on tap—about average I'd say in terms of variety. Haven't ordered mixed drinks but the liquor selection looks extensive at the bar so I imagine they can make most things you want.

Food is pretty good but a bit pricy. Outdoors we saw a sign for $5 pretzels. The menu said $10 though (and that's what we were charged). And they were TINY pretzels, so I'm glad we only got one. Definitely a $5 pretzel—tasty but tiny. I've also gotten some other appetizer dishes a while back. I also recall them being tasty but more expensive than I thought the size merited.

The style of the bar is super cool. It's a bit dark (in a good way) but when the side door is open to see the baseball stadium a lot of natural light filters in in a pretty cool way.

Overall 4/5. I've been here twice and I'd come back again. Food is good but slightly overpriced in my opinion. Really like the vibe. If you're into baseball, you'll definitely enjoy coming here for a cool spot to watch with some drinks and overpriced (very...

We understand that this is an incredibly packed bar! Three hours before first pitch, we just wanted to see if we could grab a table in the next hour or so. The hostess "greeted" us with the most uninthusiastic behavior I've ever seen.

We were super friendly and asked for an estimated wait time, and she said "no idea, maybe an hour, you can put your name down if you want". We put our name down and left. Outside of the bar, I casually mentioned the negative vibe from the hostess, and then some random manager or waitress overheard us and got angry, saying "Are you talking about MY hostess!?"

Yes, I was talking about your hostess. I didn't swear or raise my voice at all, I just mentioned her attitude. As a server or manager, it's incredibly inappropriate to yell at me while I'm with my friends and family just trying to enjoy the Fenway experience.

I have a very similar job to your position . I would be so incredibly embarrassed if any of my coworkers acted this way.

When I tell this story to friends, they say "It's Fenway, they they don't give a S because they will always be busy...". That is sad, a terrible way to run business.

True, you will always be busy, but you lost...
