It was my first and last time eating there. I got a Monument and a Christopher Robin with Turkey instead of Ham both were supposed to be on gluten free bread. Half of one of my sandwiches- the Monument somehow didn't have mayonnaise just spread on it, and the half that did the mayo tasted like it was starting to turn. I ended up wiping it off so I could eat the food. I was so disappointed! I was also charged an extra $3 and I don't know why. I asked for turkey instead of ham, but I was not told that change would be an extra $3 charge.

The gluten free cookie was grainy and tasted strongly of either baking soda or baking powder aftertaste, I literally had to throw it away. It was oddly also greasy, which makes no sense.

I am also concerned now and taking antihistamine because I am starting to wheeze, I think I was not given gluten free bread. I don't think it was put on gluten free bread. I thought they just used two types of gluten free bread and now I am not so sure because my chest is getting tight.

The only reason I gave it any stars was because the Christopher Robin was actually really tasty. Whoever made that sandwich, I thank you, and please teach your coworkers.

This bakery is the only place I have eaten at today and will eat from as I now don't feel well and don't want to add anything to the chaos in my digestive system. So upsetting! This was all hype and no substance.

I did like the Joe's Iced Tea, but you have to remember to shake it, or it will initially just taste like really nice sugary water.

If I wasn't so focused on doing errands I would have taken pictures of the weirdness that was this meal. Maybe if you are not gluten free you will...

We got a vegan wedding cake from Fiore's Bakery.

Pros: The cake was very affordable, looked beautiful, and tasted amazing. Even our non-vegan guests commented on how good it was! We also loved that they offered gluten-free cupcakes for our guests with dietary restrictions.

Cons: The ordering process was unfortunately quite disorganized. We received a call on the day of pickup asking what design we wanted, even though we had confirmed the details with an employee several months earlier. When we re-sent the design that had already been approved, the employee responded in a rude manner, and we felt the response was unnecessarily defensive. More particularly, the employee dismissed our concerns on the phone, continued to cut us off, and attempted to gaslight us into thinking that we caused the miscommunication (despite showing screenshots of our continual communication with our point of contact at the bakery about our design for over a year).

While the end result was wonderful, the experience leading up to it was stressful. I’d recommend Fiore’s for their delicious vegan cakes, but would be cautious about using them for weddings, and suggest confirming design details multiple times to avoid any...

Fiore's Done Right by Me

It was my kids 20th birthday on Friday. I ordered a cake for 20 people on Tuesday for a 5PM pickup. When I got there I soon began to realize something was wrong. Eventually I was told the owner would be coming out to speak with me momentarily. I got a sinking feeling in my stomach.

Indeed, there had been a mix-up and the cake was never made. The own was mortified and couldn't have been more apologetic. I was starting to resign myself to having to go to the supermarket and get something almost tolerable and then he said he could still make it I was willing and he would deliver it himself to my house just in the nick of time, gave me a huge discount for the trouble, plus a coupon. They didn't even skimp on the decorations I had asked for.

It was literally one of the best cakes I've ever had in my life. I had asked for a chocolate cake with vanilla butter cream frosting. What I got was three different kinds of chocolate in layers and frosting to die for.

I know that kind of mix-up doesn't happen often there, but I'm so pleased with how they turned it around and made my event terrific. I'm pretty sure every guest will be planning to get their next cakes...

If you’re looking for the best coffee shop in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, this bakery is the place to be. The breakfast here is absolutely fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to start your day. Their pastries are hands down the best in Jamaica Plain, with every bite tasting homemade and baked to perfection. What really sets this spot apart is the people. The owner, Charlie, is truly a diamond in the rough—down-to-earth, welcoming, and passionate about what he does. The staff reflects the same warmth and friendliness, making every visit feel special. One of my favorite parts about this Jamaica Plain bakery and cafĂ© is the cozy spot in the back where you can sit down with your coffee, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s a wonderful hidden gem in the neighborhood, perfect for breakfast, coffee dates, or just a quiet moment with a pastry and a latte. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone in or around Jamaica Plain. Whether you’re local or just visiting, make sure to stop in—you’ll be glad you did!

When my son suggested coffee at his favorite local cafĂ©, I was all in. I did not expect such a wonderful, cozy, warm experience like the one I had at Fiore’s! Aside from a variety of seating indoors, there was a wonderful backyard oasis, perfect for dining, chatting, or enjoying your book over a latte. I was also impressed with the menu, which featured something for the everyone: baked goods both sweet and savory, a huge array of gluten-free options, vegan and vegetarian choices, and whole meals for breakfast and lunch. I enjoyed an omelette and an iced coffee, not to mention my son and granddaughter’s outstanding company. I’ll return to Fiore’s again for sure.

Updated review: I went back with my boyfriend for a full meal. Staff was rude and the wait was interminable. Sat out back on the patio, which was nice. My Chauncey Gardner sandwich with added seitan was flavorless. The bĂĄnh mĂŹ sandwich was also bland and inexplicably came on bread instead of a roll. The chocolate chip cookie was fine but the tiramisu basically tasted like sugar, with no flavor. Prior review: Tried a sampler of four pastries - all delicious. The cakes look amazing, too. I asked and the small ones are $18, which seems fair their nice decorations. I will definitely be back to try their entrees.
