I recently had the pleasure of dining at JP Seafood Cafe, located at 730 Centre Street, JP, and it was a delightful experience. Over the past four and a half years, I've visited this restaurant on and off, and it has consistently impressed me with its quality.

JP Seafood Cafe stands out for its fresh fish and outstanding sushi. Every visit reassures me that this place is a local gem.

The freshness of the seafood is always remarkable, and the sushi is consistently delicious. The welcoming atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience, making it a great spot for both regular meals and special occasions.

During my recent visit, our waitress, Maki, made the experience even better. She was not only friendly but also incredibly efficient, ensuring that our orders were taken and served promptly.

Her warm demeanor and attentive service were greatly appreciated and contributed to a very pleasant meal.

If you're in the area and enjoy fresh seafood and sushi in a relaxed, local setting, I highly recommend JP Seafood Cafe. It’s a place where you can count on having a great meal and a...

I see this restaurant as an extension of someone who has a dream of running a good place, but with lack of reasources. I walked in thinking it was a new England style restaurant due to the name... But much to my surprise it was a Korean, Japanese restaurant which I was actually more happy about.

They unfortunately we're totally under staffed due to memorial weekend and probably bc Jamaican plain is also super slow... But our Hispanic waitress was kind and not stressed, polite and apologetic due to the long wait to order and receive food which actually made me totally comfortable with waiting. After awhile a Korean woman came bustling out snatching up orders and serving food to make up for lost time. She didn't have time to be all friendly and social, but she got it done and she got it all done well.

I hope they can find some help and can grow because I see a lot of potential there!

Also the vegetable tempura maki rolls were superrrr delish! It was homey and comforting to see Korean flare in this place as my husband and mother-in-law are Korean, so it made...

JP Seafood is a great restaurant firstly because of whats on the outside. For instance, their fancy logo as well as their fresh, beautiful plants and sparkly lights around the fence.

Secondly, I like JP Seafood because they have good food on the menus. For example, miso soup which has seaweed and tofu in it. Also, the party boat which is a mix of seafood and salmon eggs wrapped seaweed.

Most importantly, JP Seafood's decorations. They are beautiful. They even put in new fish tanks near every table as well as a really good seating area. They also have very clean floors and tables.

Another reason is the neighborhood it's in. For instance, there are very nice people that are very polite and live in the neighborhood. JP Seafood also isn't so, so busy or noisy. The workers are nice and they help you out with anything you need.

After you read this, you should go have seafood at JP Seafood!!!!!

JP Seafood has been around for years!! The secret, it has maintained the integrity of the quality, quantity and menu with the passage of time! This is not lost on the locals or newcomers. My favorite is the lunch menu. You can get healthy, tasty affordable selections whether it be the (preceded by Miso Soup) Bento Box or Sushi. The dinner menu (scaled down) is also available. You can dine alone or with friends, and have a view of the tropical fish tanks flush against the wall. The owners live in the neighborhood and that may also have a bearing. The sense of loyalty and responsibility to the community! I've seen many other restaurants come and go in the Neighborhood, yet JP Seafood has stood the test of time! The Bonus, Everything is so pleasing to the Eyes and that's where the introduction to any meal begins!

The service is very attentive, but a bit too 'professional' (lack of eye contact, smile...). The food was ok, but not exciting. The duck dumplings were filled with a creamy cheese/mayo sauce, and had shreds of duck. No duck flavor at all. The ramen was rather flavorless, and the addition of 4 shrimps and three very small slices of pork roast wasn't worth the extra $4.50. The menu is gigantic, comprising pages of Korean, Japanese, ... dishes. Probably not a good idea of trying to offer all, but not hitting most of it?!
