Honestly, when in recent years have you had impeccable customer service with the best selections of toys and gift in the greater Boston area? Well this is your go to place for these and more. My family loves table puzzles- they have the best ones! My grandsons like to assemble complex gadgets and toys, they have them. In dazzling numbers. And so much more.

All of above great reasons, but wait, it gets so much better… the week before Christmas I called Boing looking for a specific Lego set. They had it and other items I saw on their website. I ordered them to be shipped.

You can’t even believe it- one of their employees noticed the late date and because of his concern they would shipped late for the holiday he drove them to my home on his way from work. That my friends is why shopping locally and in fabulous stores like Boing! is so very important. Truly a remarkable experience! Thank you Boing! We love your store. Went recently with my daughter. I noticed other customers being asked if they needed help, no one asked me. I wasn’t offended by this as it’s the busy holiday season. However when it was time to pay for my items things got weirder. After the person in front of me paid, the staff person left the cash register for no particular reason and just left me standing there. So I put my item on the counter until I can get someone’s attention. When the next employee came to the register she immediately starts to help the person BEHIND me. It was the customer behind the who had to point out that I was waiting in front of her. For the record I am a Latina woman and everyone in that store (except an Indian customer and her child) were white. So there you have it, the JP “progressives.” Still, despite this unsavory experience giving the store 3 stars instead of the minimum because I like to support smalls business and toy stores are so rare these...

Five stars is in gratitude and recognition of the previous ownership. We spent a lot of time here over the past five years browsing and buying (so a lot of money spent too). Yes you can probably buy the same toys on Amazon or elsewhere online, but nothing beats in-person visit both for a child and an adult alike. The selection of toys here is well-curated, including Legos, cast iron cars, baby rattles, and some baby books. The shop also inflates balloons with helium and has birthday and other cards. People working here are always helpful and cheerful.
